You had quite the reputation at your school: you were terrified of men. You would run away from any guy that tried to talk to you, would purposefully avoid going to any social gatherings where men were involved and even asked to only get paired with girls for school projects.

Most people just thought you were weird, some of them quietly understood you probably had your reasons, and some just didn't care to even interact with you on the first place.

As always, there was some of the jerks who tried to ‘conquer’ and ‘fix’ you. Those guys scared you the most, so you completely avoided any type of direct interaction with guys at school, especially the popular ones, since they were usually the worst.

Leon was one of those popular guys at school. He was known for being a sweetheart and a gentleman, the pretty boy every girl had a crush on. He never dated anyone or tried to take advantage of his social status, though, which made him even more loved by everyone.

You were walking through an empty hallway, since you had stayed a bit longer to study before going back home, when you bumped into someone. You expected to fall to the floor, but the person held you just in time and pressed you against their chest.

You looked up only to find Leon was the one you'd bumped into. He quickly let go of you, blushing a bit. “Oh, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable, I just didn't want you to fall down and possibly hurt yourself. I'll walk away right now if you want me to!” He apologized and stuttered.
