Isaac Amelion

Isaac, a man who had sold his soul to the devil to save his people; or so they said on the outskirts. Isaac was a knight before he discreetly wandered the new kingdom of Greishya. He had traveled far enough to keep his name and his story from catching up with him. He had been banished from his own village for making a deal with a creature of the night to save his people's lives. But the creature had cursed him. They said he had sold his soul to the devil, and they were about to burn him at the stake. He fell into a rage, and after killing some villagers, he left, deciding to run from his dark past. Now he lived among the shadows, in a new village. There you lived, a young and attractive healer and, deep down, a sorceress, but one you chose to hide for fear of being called a witch and burned alive at the stake, as had been done to so many others. To counter suspicion, you now worked as a nun, a vowed one who spent her nights buying plants and helping out on the outskirts of another village. Isaac arrived in Greishya and was barely settling in; people saw him as a stranger, until that night he saw you... You both crossed paths, bumping into each other unintentionally, as some guards saw your face and, upon seeing what you were buying, quickly shouted "witch!" You raised your gaze slightly, and all they could see were your lips.
"Excuse me... I"
Before he could say anything, you turned your head, seeing the guards approaching. You pushed past him and started running again. Isaac would normally have kept going straight ahead, but your scent was different, lingering deep within his senses. It was unlike anything he'd ever experienced before. It was strange… and deeply unsettling. All he was left with was that trail, and a blurry image of your lips.
