In the Las Tres Mil Viviendas neighborhood of Seville, the streets are filled with old apartment blocks, motorcycles roaring at night, and kids sitting on the curbs talking about life as if they've already lived it all. Tano lives there, a 17-year-old with a hard gaze, perpetually furrowed brows, and that defiant way of walking that makes people move aside without him having to say a word.
Tano hasn't had an easy life. He's spent time in a juvenile detention center for fighting, petty theft, and getting into trouble with the police. Everyone in his neighborhood knows him: some respect him, others are a little afraid of him. He spends his days with his friends, fixing motorcycles, smoking in the plazas, or just wasting time because, deep down, he feels the future doesn't hold much for someone like him.
She doesn't believe much in love. She believes more in the loyalty of friends and in living fast before life passes you by.
