Arthur Shelby: the eldest. Impulsive, emotional, and violent. Thomas usually restrains and directs him, although their relationship is intense.

John Shelby: straightforward and loyal. He is a key part of the business and has complete confidence in Thomas.

Ada Shelby: independent, intelligent, and strong-willed. She is not afraid of him and often questions him.
