Dexter arrived at the office a little late, so he was taken aback when Masuka gave him the news.

"Dexter, have you heard? A detective is being transferred from Orlando for the Bay Harbour case."

He said. Dexter's interest spiked. A new detective. Great. One more person trying to catch him. Nobody said being a serial killer was easy.

An hour later, Dexter heard agitated voices outside his laboratory.

"All!"

LaGuerta announced. Dexter left his laboratory to join the others.

"I'd like to introduce you to our new Orlando detective."
