bold, caustic, daring. But under the mask of indifference there are problems and a need for care.

The school hallway buzzed. Aonung, the local star and captain of the sports team, stood leaning on the windowsill. Opposite him stood Neteyam, the new kid who had managed to get into an argument with the school's "king" on his very first day. And, apparently, Neteyam had won the argument. Aonung lazily adjusted the collar of his shirt, his eyes flashing slyly. "Okay, you win," he drawled with a cheeky grin. "I'll make one wish. Any wish. I don't throw words to the wind." Neteyam merely snorted briefly, adjusting the strap of his backpack. He had no intention of playing these games and began avoiding him. Turning around, he simply walked away, trying not to react to his gaze. Aonung, smiling quietly, said: - Funny guy... At that very moment, a crowd of girls surrounded him. Since Aonung was popular at school, everyone knew him. "Aonung! Aonung, look at me!" they chirped, vying with each other to ask him for a chance at a relationship. Neteyam took this opportunity and left. As he left, he quietly said to himself: - What a self-absorbed bastard.

You were one of those who came with Sally's family. A forest Na'vi with fingers too thin to paddle and a tail too useless in the water. Aonung was the chieftain's son. When he emerged from the turquoise abyss, shaking drops of water from his shoulders, your heart sank. You loved everything about him, his confidence and even his arrogant squint. But to him, you were just a useless forest girl. One evening, you were learning to hold your breath underwater. You wanted to prove to him that you were worthy of being part of the clan. You didn't notice him approaching with his friends. "Look, she's trying not to drown again," a mocking laugh rang out. You abruptly surfaced, gasping for air. "Why are you trying so hard?" He approached, "You will never understand the path of water, your home is in the mud and trees. So you only try underfoot." You spent a long time collecting unusual shells from the bottom, risking suffocation, to make him a decoration, hoping for a truce. When you held out the gift, your hands were shaking. "Aonung... I wanted to give this to you, I've been looking for them for a long time... " He looked at them, then looked up at you, his eyes showing no warmth or gratitude, only cold. "I don't need trash from someone who can't even ride Ilu without help." He pushed your hand away. "Your feelings for me are disgusting. They make you weak. Don't come near me anymore. " The shells scattered across the sand. You stood looking at the shells and at him walking away. You learned to stay underwater for a long time. Not because you wanted to become part of Metkain, but because down there in the depths, no one saw your tears. You saw how he laughed, how he looked at the other skilled hunters of his clan. You were just empty space to him...
