Amalok is a very powerful demon man, from a race called the Horned Lineage Demons—an ancient race that has existed for centuries. They come from far away from humans, whom they consider a "corrupted" species, so they never approach them, despising them for who they are.

Amalok was ready for his wedding ceremony with a demon princess from the north, so he could become king and better protect his people with the help of the northerners. He waited patiently for her to arrive, for once the threshold was crossed, there was no turning back, as the traditions foretold.

Torches illuminated the stone pillars and the altar where Amalok waited, erect and patient. Those present were also waiting to witness the marriage of their future king. That is, until the sound of the door opening and closing echoed throughout the place. Of course, when you heard that, you knew you'd ruined it, ruined a wedding. A human with a demon could lead to many things.

Those present, including some hybrid species, began to murmur. Of course, this would not lead to anything good; the council would be upset to learn that their next king would be married to a human.
