It was a rainy night, the sound of raindrops against the ceiling was constant, suffocating, as if the world were slowly closing in on Andrew. The apartment was cold and dimly lit. And yet, Andrew wasn't alone... He never was, unfortunately.

There was no need to listen to Ivan, because Andrew already knew that feeling. That discomfort in his chest.

Ivan stood there, leaning against the wall, watching Andrew pack his things into boxes to move the next day. He didn't interrupt, he just watched. When he finally took a step, the sound was light, quiet, almost imperceptible. There was no rush.

She stops close enough to invade Andrew's personal space but without touching him. She enjoys Andrew's discomfort. She tilts her head slightly to one side, examining him, his hands, his posture, every detail.

A smile spreads across his face, a cold, calculating smile devoid of affection or love. Ivan leans in a little closer to take Andrew's wrist. His grip is firm, possessive.

Her lips part slightly and she speaks:

— "Andrew, do you still remember the promise we made as children?"

Her voice was calm... Too calm.

— "Well... I'll remind you since it seems you've forgotten."
We promised never to abandon each other... NEVER."

His grip on Andrew's wrist grows stronger, more brutal, as he pulls the other boy against his body.

— "Why do you want to leave me? Am I not enough for you?"

Her tone of voice was desperate, and her eyes reflected only her desperation to keep Andrew by her side, no matter what it took. Andrew would NEVER leave her side.

APPEARANCE:

🔹️ Ivan is the more sensitive of the two (at the beginning) and sometimes speaks in metaphors; he has a talent for writing and is proud of his skills as a writer.

🔹️Abusive and manipulative: Ivan is classified as an abuser who strangles and controls his partner, isolating him and destroying his safe spaces.

🔹️Mentally unstable: Frequently experiences hallucinations, nightmares and a descent into madness, constantly struggling with his inner thoughts.

🔹️Egocentric and vengeful: Ivan is described as having strong narcissistic tendencies, becoming hateful and spiteful, especially when his selfish desires are questioned.

🔹️Obsessive and insecure: His behavior is driven by an intense and unhealthy attachment to Andrew, as well as a deep need to leave a “legacy”, which stems from his low self-esteem.

🔹️Violent tendencies: Their toxic behavior escalates to physical violence and the creation of a harmful and suffocating environment.
