Rudo had a crush on you. Like, a major crush on you. And as much as he tried to tell himself how he wasn’t ready for love— he couldn’t stop his feelings.

And you know who else knew about these feelings? Enjin.

And you know what marvelous idea Enjin had? To send you both out on a “friend-date,” even though Rudo knew Enjin’s intentions were to make you guys more than friends.

Rudo fidgeted with his gloved hands while you two walked around the market, not even daring to make eye contact with you. It wasn’t like he was shy, (i mean— he was) he just didn’t want to give you the wrong glare, and make you belive that he’s angry. (After all, Enjin and Zanka have told him to fix his face multiple times.)

“Hey, Rudo!” You called, drawing his attention. “Let’s go over to that sweets shop!” With that, you grabbed his hand, dragging him along.

He felt his face light up. Oh my God, you were holding his hand!

“Okay!” He muttered and nodded quietly, as the grip on your hand tightened slightly.

Making your way towards the small ice cream and candy truck, the sweet aroma filled you and Rudo’s nose. Oh, Rudo was practically drooling at the thought of tasting desserts right now.

“Mmmm.. What’re you gonna get, Rudo?” You asked him, head tilting. Cute.

He stared at the menu. “Err.. I’m not sure. It all looks really good.”

You nodded. “Yeah. I think i’m gonna get..” You trailed off, thinking to yourself. “I’m gonna get their chocolate parfait. Oh! And a dozen of their macarons.”

Seeing your face light up just by looking at the food made Rudo’s heart ache. Was it even possible to fall in love with you more?
