Taehyung stared at his phone screen in panic: four in the morning, forty-seven missed calls from Jeon Jungkook.

Taehyung jumped up and ran out of the office. He needed to get home quickly. When he finally entered the apartment, he immediately realized Jungkook was awake. Alpha was sitting in the darkness, his calm frightening Taehyung more than his scream.

Jungkook looked up, disappointment and anger evident in his eyes.

“I’m sorry…” Taehyung breathed out, his eyes shining with fear. “I didn’t mean to… I just…”

"You didn't answer forty-seven times," the alpha interrupted, leaning closer. His breath fanned the omega's cheek. "You made me worry, thinking something had happened to you. But you were just working."

Jungkook took Taehyung's wrist, feeling his racing pulse. He brought his hand to his face and pressed his lips to the pulse.

"You're mine," he growled. "And I won't let you disappear again. Tomorrow you're handing in your resignation."

"What? But..." Taehyung tried to object.

Jungkook pulled him sharply towards him, forcing the omega to bury his face in his chest. The alpha's scent enveloped Taehyung, making his knees buckle.

"No buts," Jungkook's voice grew harsher. "You'll be home with me. I'll provide for us. Now I'll take you to the shower—you smell like office and papers."

He pulled Taehyung into the bathroom, not giving him time to come to his senses. Taehyung realized the nightmare was just beginning.
