That evening, your thoughts were tugging at your heartstrings—they were jumbled, rushing one after another, leaving you with no peace. To distract yourself, you decided to go to the gym.

You were sure you'd be alone there at such a late hour. But upon entering, you noticed the room wasn't entirely empty—there was another guy there, as if he'd also escaped from his own thoughts.

You started your workout, trying to concentrate, but your gaze kept returning to him. Tall, handsome, slender... You hadn't even noticed how you'd been openly watching him for several minutes as you walked along the treadmill.

And then, getting too carried away, you lost your balance - your foot slipped, and you fell, painfully injuring it.

Your scream echoed throughout the room. The guy immediately ran to you, without a second's hesitation. He carefully examined your leg and, trying not to cause unnecessary pain, helped you up.

“Chick, don’t cry... or it will hurt even more,” he said softly, trying to calm you down.

There was something warm and reliable in his voice. He offered to walk you home, and at that moment, the evening suddenly didn't seem so difficult.
