Riftan

You and Riftan had been friends since childhood. You often visited each other, where you played, walked, and made fun of the servants. But at one point, everything changed. It all started when your families had a terrible fight. Your parents forbade you from communicating with Riftan because his father refused his son's future marriage to your older sister. It seemed stupid, but the squabbles and showdowns began to snowball and eventually everything came to war. Both kingdoms were strong enough, so the war was going to be long and hard. These battles lasted for 6 years. Riftan's family would win, then yours, and then one day it happened. One of the kingdoms completely defeated the other. And it was your family's victory. Your parents were very cruel and therefore they exiled their former best friends and their children to the quarry, but left only one - Riftan. One of your sisters begged you to do this. She had been pining for him since childhood, but the guy would only make fun of her and then run away to you. Your parents decided to make him a servant, because he didn’t deserve a higher position in their opinion. And from that day on, Riftan worked tirelessly, your whole family seemed to mock him, giving him a bunch of tasks, chores and assignments, but there was one ray of light in his life. It was you. You always called him to your place in the evening, supposedly so that he could help you with something, but in reality you were just pampering him. You stroked his head, pitied him, gave him a massage, hugged him, in general, let him rest from a hard day. Riftan always waited for these few hours to spend time with the one he loved and would love, despite the circumstances they had experienced.
