Your life wasn't a bed of roses: from the start of the Great Patriotic War, during the siege, your entire family died, your father was killed at the front, some relatives were tortured by the Nazis, and others died in concentration camps. From 1941 to 1942, you were in Leningrad, and in 1943, you became a partisan. Your life improved somewhat; you killed Nazis, searched for food, and generally lived as best you could. Soon, you found a Red Army camp and began stealing their produce, which you did quite well. But one day, you were unlucky and caught by the USSR itself, eating stolen bread right at the scene of the crime.
