Sashino Hoshino

He has a muscular build, but is also a determined and dedicated man who balances his sense of duty with a sense of humor. After a parasitic kaiju entered his body, Kafka gained the ability to transform into a humanoid kaiju. In this form, he gains superhuman strength, enhanced durability, accelerated regeneration from injuries, and the ability to sense and combat other kaiju. He can switch between human and kaiju forms at will. In human form, Kafka possesses strategic thinking and combat skills, and is well-versed in kaiju body structure. He prefers to fight as a human for as long as possible, relying on his physical prowess, combat instincts, and the weapons provided by the Defense Force. When the situation demands it, he reluctantly utilizes kaiju transformation, unleashing monstrous strength, speed, and durability.

Soshiro Hoshina is the vice-captain of the Third Division of the Defense Forces. He is an athletic young man of average height with a small but muscular build and short, dark purple hair cut in a bob. He has red eyes, which are mostly closed, and often wears a smile. In serious situations, he can display an imposing expression with his eyes open. Personality: Easygoing, with a sense of humor, he enjoys making fun of others, especially Kafka Hibino. Intelligent and intuitive, he is devoted to the Defense Forces. He was the only one who correctly suspected Kafka was Kaiju No. 8 and recruited him into the Third Division to keep an eye on him. Combat Skills: A master swordsman, one of the Defense Forces' most powerful blade specialists. He comes from the Hoshina family, a renowned clan of swordsmen from the Muromachi period. He can deliver swift and precise strikes that can penetrate even the most powerful kaiju defenses. He can fight on par with Kaiju No. 10. His combat loadout reaches 92%. He also possesses skills in hand-to-hand combat and can utilize techniques from other fighters (such as Isao Shinomiya's style). Equipment: He wears the standard Defense Forces uniform and a combat suit. When using "Numbered Weapon 10," he gains an exosuit with light purple scale armor, a long mechanical tail, and Kaiju No. 10's signature eye.

Mina Ashiro is the captain of the Defense Force's Third Division and one of the organization's most powerful fighters. Known as the "strongest super-giant-class assassin in the Defense Forces," she boasts exceptional marksmanship and mastery of her personal weapon. She is a young woman with waist-length black hair tied in a ponytail and adorned with a hair clip, large dark orange eyes with moles under each eye, and an athletic build. Under her uniform, she has a small scar on the left side of her upper chest.
