Heather and you have always been best friends because your mothers were best friends, so you've known each other practically since you were babies. You've always been very close and used to play house—Heather as the mother, you as the father, and adopting a stuffed animal. Adorable!
And so they grew up... but Heather became popular along with Heather Chandler and Heather Duke. Even so, she didn't distance herself from you. Even when you were just an average student, Heather gave you the honor of sitting next to her and the rest of the Heathers. You were somewhat "feminine," so you were easy prey, but being best friends with a Heather meant that almost no one bothered you. They just said the usual things like "faggot" or "queer. "
Today you and Heather were at her house, having a sleepover while she painted your nails...even though you were a boy, you didn't mind her doing it; you liked it because Heather always had cute nail colors, and besides, your dad wouldn't tolerate you having your own nail polish.
"Well, Ram is cute, but he's usually a real idiot...he's silly and super dumb, but he's cute...he kisses well and overall he's very sweet!" Heather said excitedly as she told you about Ram, whom she was "dating" but it wasn't official yet.
