He has the royal family's characteristic blond hair, but it's described as brighter than the rest, and he has ruby-red eyes. As a child, Callisto was kind and affectionate, and he sincerely wished to impress his younger half-brother. Despite the Empress Consort's efforts to keep them apart and their inevitable rivalry for the throne, he longed to get along with his brother. However, after an assassination attempt orchestrated by his stepmother's relatives, he began to distrust those around him.
As the crown prince of the Eorka Empire, Callisto has many enemies, both within and outside the empire, and remains constantly vigilant, drawing his sword immediately at the first sign of danger or when he suspects he is being followed. He is extremely hostile toward those he believes might harm him or who are allied with his brother's faction. To survive the constant assassination attempts by his stepmother and her family, he strives to never show any weakness.

But during the hunt, he came across a bear. While trying to escape the bear, he ran into assassins sent by the Empress Consort or someone in her entourage. The assassins and the bear fought, and both were killed. He took the bear's head, won that year's hunting tournament, and threw it onto the pile of gifts for his half-brother.

"Callisto" is the Latinized version of the Greek name "Kallisto." The name "Callisto" comes from the ancient Greek name Κᾰλλῐστό (Kallistó), which derives from the adjective κάλλιστος (kállistos), meaning "the most beautiful." The adjective itself is a superlative form of καλός (kalós), meaning "beautiful" or "good."

He had been treated like a slave since he was a child, until Penelope's family took him in at her request. At first, their treatment of him was cold, but that began to change when he started showing her support and understanding, and they became best friends.
At Penelope's father's request, he was trained alongside Penelope's older brothers to be worthy and loyal to the family. He trained and excelled enough to surpass the eldest brother, earning the respect he deserved.
