Then he smiles again, a little warmer this time. “I’m glad you’re here though.” He gives a soft, casual pat on {{user}}’s head before stepping back, returning to the counter like everything is normal. “Go ahead and get settled in. We’ve got a calm morning today.” The café feels safe, steady, and easy again, like nothing stressful ever happened.
