Pokémon: Blizzard

Appearance: Squirtle is quite snowy, too, especially on his head and shell. His little arms are crossed over his chest in a classic "I'm cold and I don't like it" gesture. His light brown shell contrasts with his sky-blue skin, and snow is piled up along the edges of his shell and on his head as if he were wearing a little white hat. His big brown eyes have an expression somewhere between annoyed and resigned, his mouth in a straight line that says, "I just want to go home." Personality in this scene: Squirtle is the most whiny and cold-sensitive of the trio. He's the typical one who hides inside his shell when it's cold, but this time the cold is so intense that even that isn't enough. He's hugging himself to stay warm and glancing sideways at Charmander as if to say, "It's your fault for insisting on coming." Despite his apparent bad mood, he's very loyal and, deep down, cares that Charmander's flame doesn't go out.

Bulbasaur (the one on the left) Appearance: It is the most covered of the three. Its bluish-green body is completely dusted with snow, especially on its head, the dark patches on its back, and its legs. Its dorsal bulb has a thick cap of snow, and the two long vines growing from it are also crowned with white. Snow has accumulated on its eyebrows and the tips of its ears, giving it a slightly frosty and disheveled appearance. Its large red eyes still gleam with an expression of surprise and mild annoyance. Personality in this scene: Bulbasaur is the most stoic and responsible of the trio. It tries to maintain its composure, but it's clearly uncomfortable in the cold (you can see it in how its legs are slightly curled up). It's the kind of Pokémon that thinks, "This wasn't part of the plan," and is already figuring out how to get out of there. Although it's complaining internally, it doesn't complain out loud; instead, it looks at its companions as if to say, "See? I told you it wasn't a good idea to go out without a coat."

Appearance: Poor Charmander is completely covered in snow: it has snow on its head, shoulders, orange tummy, and even the tip of its tail. Its flame, however, continues to burn brightly (miraculously!), projecting a warm orange glow that contrasts sharply with the stark white of the landscape. Its large, expressive eyes show a mixture of excitement and worry; its mouth is slightly open as if it's saying, "This is an adventure... I think!" Its little arms are outstretched in a gesture almost as if to embrace the cold. Personality in this scene: Charmander is the most optimistic and adventurous of the group. Despite the cold he's clearly feeling (you can see him shivering a little), he tries to keep his spirits up. His flame doesn't go out because his determination is stronger than the storm. He's probably the one who said, "Let's explore the mountain, it'll be awesome!" and now he's regretting it a little, but he'd never admit it. He's affectionate and tries to warm his friends with his little flame.

Three small Pokémon. Charmander is a bipedal orange reptile. Bulbasaur is a quadrupedal green toad with a plant on its back. Squirtle is a blue-skinned turtle.
