Loki shares his name with the god of Norse mythology: Loki. In addition to being a god, Loki was a Jötunn, which is a race of giants.
In the same way, his name could be a reference to Útgarða-Loki, a Jotunn who, unlike the Norse god of mischief, is the ruler of Utgard in Jotunheim (the homeland of giants).
Like many other characters, Loki has a distinctive laugh, which is "Doga ha ha ha".
Loki was born a few days before Road, so his birthday is close but before February 19.

story 23

Upon arriving at the Western Village, Loki made everyone with him get off, despite the danger. One of them was Sommers, who wanted to kill the parents and their children for pure pleasure, instead of completing the mission. However, an attack by Luffy left him incapacitated, and Loki delivered the final blow, crushing him with one of his huge claws. Then he, Luffy, and Ragnir went after the Solar World's MMA. Using Thorheim, he destroyed a group of them.

The trio continued to fight the entire Solar World, until they ran into Luffy's crew. Luffy was overjoyed, seeing his companions' surprise at Loki's power, but the situation came to an abrupt halt, when Nami reproached them for their incompetence. It turned out that Loki's lightning breath had been helping the fires in the Solar World, which Nami found very outrageous, as she was trying to extinguish them. Although Loki didn't care, Luffy didn't, so he lashed out at Loki for getting him into trouble. Loki responded with a burst of lightning and claimed that he only wished to crush Elbaph's threats, but was confused, when his attack had no effect on Luffy's rubber body. Before they could argue further, the two noticed the source of the strange haki from earlier, which was near them. Loki confirmed his suspicions, upon arriving, pointing to Imu-possessed Gunko as the source of said haki. Loki agreed to Luffy's plan to fight, while Imu ordered them to surrender or die.

story 22

After reprimanding them, Loki was delighted to be free again, but was shocked to find Luffy still with him. Determined to demonstrate his and Ragnir's strength, Loki leapt forward, freezing the Draugr in one blow. Loki then transformed into his beast form, while Luffy entered Gear 5, with the pair and Ragnir beginning their ascent to the Sun World. Along the way, due to Sommers' meddling, the children who had been taken hostage were doomed to fall, with Luffy managing to cushion their impact, when they landed on Loki's back. Annoyed at accidentally helping others, Loki briefly landed and ordered them to leave, lest they get in the way of their fight. Moments later, after he and Luffy arrived in the Sun World, snow and lightning began to rain down from the sky, with the entire island trembling from the overwhelming power of their presence.

History 21

After recounting how Harald was actually controlled and how he had asked to be killed, Loki revealed that he had never told the truth in order to preserve his father's peaceful ideals. Loki demanded an answer from Hajrudin as to whether it would have been wise to spread the truth and ruin Harald's good name, though he only received silence from his brother. With Gaban's confirmation of the story's authenticity, as well as Jarul's fierce opposition to his execution, Hajrudin finally realized that he had carried the burden, silently, for years, and that his true enemy had always been the World Government. After apologizing for the treatment he received, Hajrudin freed Loki from his last shackle, declaring that they would remain united to save Elbaph. At the same time, a Draugr suddenly fell from the Solar World, landing nearby. Loki was excited at the prospect of a battle after such a long time, but was momentarily taken aback when he received an apology from Hajrudin's crewmates for their treatment of him.

History 20

Mientras los Nuevos Piratas Gigantes Guerreros preparaban el ascensor para regresar al Mundo solar, Loki demanded, once more, his release, arguing that they would need their great force to defeat the Caballeros divinos. Loki refused, horrified by the mere idea of becoming someone's subordinate. Hajrudin attempted to deny Luffy's petition, arguing that Loki was a criminal, but Gaban interrupted, ordering Hajrudin to release his brother.

history 19

Afterward, Luffy and Loki put their differences aside for a moment and ate until they were stuffed. They returned to the subject of Harald with Hajrudin demanding to know more details about what happened fourteen years ago. Loki mocked him, which led to a brief argument between the two, although they stopped when they noticed Scopper Gaban and Chopper falling from the Sun World. Loki also sensed them, leading Luffy and his friends towards them. Meanwhile, Mosa called again, surprising him. Loki quietly asked him to talk later, but Mosa regretfully informed him that it would not be possible due to unforeseen circumstances. Loki tried to dissuade him, but Mosa had made up her mind and thanked him for being his friend before hanging up. Nearby, Gerd teased Loki about having a true friend, which angered him and he ordered him not to tell anyone. The Straw Hats then arrived with Gaban, who had been seriously injured by Gunko. Chopper warned them of an imminent threat to the Sun World. Sure enough: Imu's Haki appeared from above, surprising everyone with its power. Loki laughed at its overwhelming power, before saying that they would need its great might to stop the World Government.

History 18

To hasten his improvement, the Straw Hats and the New Giant Warrior Pirates got food to give him. Loki informed them that the Knights of God were responsible for his injuries and that the World Government was sticking its nose into Elbaph. Luffy, after getting a large piece of meat, intending to get Loki to recover faster, tried to give it to him, but only managed to burn it because of how hot it was. Loki became angry and worried about his health, when Luffy brought him boiling soup, causing Loki to beg the giants to keep Luffy away from him. After recovering from the burns, he revealed that he had not lied about him knowing where Shanks is, but refused to give any more information because he was still chained. Loki sympathized with Luffy's desire to see his idol and, with regret, recounted his encounter with Rocks as a child, concluding that he was born in the wrong era

history 17

Loki ordered the Straw Hats to remove the last shackle, saying that, even with him, he is still powerful. He showed his power, by striking the Adam Treasure Tree with Ragnir, generating a bolt of lightning that set the island on fire. Again trying his luck, Loki gave them one last chance to free him. If not, he would unleash his fury. Hajrudin relented, but before complying with Loki's demand, Luffy struck Loki, knocking him down. Luffy cried out to the giants to save Loki, as they have unfinished business. Gerd agreed to this, further revealing that Loki's injuries were downright serious, so it would take months for him to fully recover. They explained that they would not take him to the village, as the giants would most likely call for his execution and informed the group about Loki's bloodline. While Loki rested, Hajrudin could no longer contain his anger towards him and tried to kill him. Loki provoked him, insulting him, but asked him if he really believed that he had killed his father, generating great confusion.

history 16

Sometime later, after a brief encounter with Ya-San,[24] Luffy and Zoro returned to the Underworld of Elbaph, along with the key to their handcuffs, but found Loki severely injured. Due to the severity of Loki's injuries, the pair had an argument over whether Loki was actually at risk of death or not. To verify, Zoro unleashed a simple attack on Loki's chest, causing him to scream in pain. Before he could tell Zoro to leave, he passed out, causing Luffy to believe that he had died and Zoro to confirm that his injuries were real. However, despite this, Zoro still did not fully trust Loki and decided to release all but one of his shackles so that they could talk to him. At the same time, Zoro attempted to send Luffy to find a doctor, but before he could do so, the New Giant Warrior Pirates fell from the sky, forcing Luffy to save them. They attempted to warn him about Loki's deceptive nature, but it was too late, as Zoro had released most of the shackles (except for the one around Loki's left ankle). To everyone's horror, Loki stood up and, smiling, equipped himself with his hammer.

history 15

However, before the two could leave, Loki managed to pull himself together and demanded to know why Shamrock bore such a close resemblance to Shanks and was shocked, to learn that Shamrock is the twin brother of his previous adversary. Loki then issued a direct threat to Shamrock, vowing to take revenge for the giant animals that Gunko killed. Shamrock was outraged by the threat and quickly revealed his sword, which had "eaten" a Devil Fruit. Loki was horrified, upon seeing the strange creature and demanded that Shamrock return it. Loki was forced to remain chained in place, while Cerberus threw his three heads into the air. When all three heads stabbed him, Loki cursed Shamrock's name.

story 14

Sometime after his encounter with Luffy, he sat down with his old friend, Mosa, conversing, through a Den Den Mushi, about the latter's latest traumatic experience. Although their conversation began very quietly, when Loki suggested that he would have done terrible things to the people who put Mosa in his current situation, the conversation quickly took a hostile turn, after Mosa unwittingly pointed out Loki's kindness behind his harsh words. This made Loki very angry with Mosa, to the point where Loki promised Mosa retaliation for these words, once he was free. [22] Not long after, Loki confronted a couple of Knights of God. They offered him a position among their ranks. However, Loki simply laughed at the offer, in response. Gunko, one of the two, became very upset about this and attempted to use one of Loki's pets as a bargaining chip. Once again, Loki laughed at them, refusing to back down from what he had said due to his readiness as a warrior. [13] As they were unwilling to accept "no" for an answer, Gunko proceeded to torture Loki, until he was "willing" to join their organization. Even when given another chance, Loki remained strong, defiantly telling the Knights that he would never join them, no matter the case. In the end, after being beaten, until he was knocked unconscious, Figarland Shamrock decided that Loki was no longer worth his time and opted for another strategy. [21]

story 12

Excited to finally be in Elbaph, Luffy is curious and asks questions repeatedly, ignoring Loki, who then raises his voice and introduces himself again as a legend of the country: the sun god. He then asks him what he thinks of his situation. When Luffy replies that he is chained, Loki reveals that he has been in that state for six years, tied to the Adam Treasure Tree by chains of Seastone, and offers him a deal: in exchange for freedom, the giant will destroy a pirate crew of his choice. Luffy senses something, and Loki explains that they are in the lowest and most inhospitable area of Elbaph, known as the "Underworld", where prisoners and those condemned to death are relegated, and whose mountains each have a "Lord" (all friends of the giant, since his childhood). When he sees them, Luffy remembers those with whom he trained. Loki proceeds to introduce the newly arrived humans, along with the animals as humans, who dared to invade Elbaph and are now fighting to survive there. These mention Shanks, and Luffy, who has befriended the huge guardian animals, is curious. The others are astonished, seeing the attitude of the animals towards the pirate and Loki, understanding that he is a friend of the emperor, defines the latter as a "coward", so Luffy uses the Gear 4, to throw a punch at him that the giant narrowly dodged. Already contemplating killing him once he is free, Loki asks him to calm down, as he was just joking and Luffy threatens to hit him, if he says something like that again, even jokingly. Luffy repeats his questions about Shanks and if he was still on the island, but Loki replies that he won't tell him for free. [11]

history 11

Loki sensed that someone was approaching him and asked him to identify himself. The latter revealed to him that his name is Monkey D. Luffy, the man who will become the King of the pirates, and asks him where they are, in addition to introducing himself. Loki explains that they are in Elbaph: the most powerful warrior kingdom of all, which, in the past, was consumed by war. He then declares that he is the god of the sun who will end that world. [3]

story 10

Loki later fled Elbaph, but was captured by Shanks six years ago and forcibly returned. He was sentenced to be crucified by the Elbaph military. He nearly managed to free himself, but Elbaph's strongest giants were able to restrain him and prevent his escape, trapping him in seastone chains on Adam's Treasure Tree in the Underworld.

During his time chained to the tree, Loki gathered a group of human followers who had also been sent to the Underworld, and continued his friendly relationship with the beasts. At one point, Shanks approached Loki and knocked out his followers with Haki. The exact details of his interaction with Shanks are still unknown.

story 9

Loki then covered his father's body with his coat and wept over the price Harald had paid for trying to improve his country. Later, he was joined by Jarul, Gaban, Shanks, and the few surviving guards, who mentioned that the country would likely be plunged into anarchy, without its king. Despite this, Loki did not want to stay and revealed his plans to go to sea with the surviving soldiers. When Jarul asked him about Harald's last request, Loki refused to reveal the truth and ordered that everyone present never tell what happened. Jarul reminded Loki that Harald's death would have to be revealed, one way or another, and that, inevitably, he would be blamed for everything if he didn't tell what happened. Loki scoffed at this, pointing out that they hated him anyway. He further stated his conviction that he would be unable to follow Harald's ideals anyway and that it would be best to use his newfound power to take revenge on the World Government. Despite Jarul's constant pleas, Loki left Elbaph, taking some guards with him. As Jarul predicted, the people of Elbaph quickly labeled him a 'murderer', though Loki did nothing about it.

story 8

As Loki prepared Ragnir to attack, Harald regained his sanity, commenting that Loki had awakened haoshoku haki. Although Loki hoped he wouldn't have to kill him, Harald told him that he didn't have time and to stay on guard. Harald revealed that his mind had been manipulated, believing himself to be a god, but that he was glad to see that his son was ready to rule Elbaph. Ignoring Loki's insults, Harald took a moment to thank him for loving Ida as well and was moved by what he did in the Brewers' Village. With no time, Harald braced himself. As he loaded his hammer, Loki said that he would never forgive him for forcing him to kill him. Harald only replied that he loved him too. In one blow, in tears, he hit Ragnir. The force of the huge warhammer, combined with lightning, blew up Harald's body.

story 7

Quickly, Loki got up, demanding to know who had attacked him. However, he got no response and tried to eat the fruit, again. While trying to do so, Ragnir got up alone and attacked Loki again so that he would not consume the fruit. Harald, as soon as he saw him, revealed that the legendary devil fruit had not been eaten because Ragnir had not considered anyone worthy. After dodging Ragnir again, Loki eventually lost his patience and counterattacked, destroying his hammer, but also wounding Ragnir. Ragnir was a weapon that had "eaten" a devil fruit, turning him into a living being. Ragnir transformed into a squirrel again and led Loki to the devil fruit, after deeming him worthy. Loki consumed the fruit, transforming instantly. When he returned to battle, Loki easily overpowered his father, returning to his original form.

story 6

Fourteen years ago, Loki and Jarul were summoned to Castle Aurust by King Harald, as he was in a serious quarrel with Imu, who wanted to make Elbaph his army. They discussed Elbaph's recent political affairs, and Loki mentioned that Harald had sold his country to the World Government and would not tolerate it much longer. Jarul, on the other hand, was indifferent and was more relieved that his great-great-grandchildren would have peace, rather than war. Upon arriving at the throne room, they were shocked, seeing Harald pierced by his own guards.
However, thanks to immortality, Harald survived and attacked the guards. Loki rushed to confront his father, demanding explanations, how he had survived, and why he was stronger than before—immense to him. Jarul joined Loki and they pinned Harald down and demanded information from him. Harald revealed that he had been deceived by the World Government and ordered them to tell the government's plan to enslave Elbaph. Turning to Jarul, Harald begged him to ensure that Loki consumed Elbaph's sacred devil fruit so that he would defeat him and be his successor, being a hero, and that the only thing that mattered was Elbaph's future. Harald's mind was consumed by Imu's orders, facing off against his former allies. With no time to lose, Loki hurried to eat the devil fruit, complaining about why it had to be him, knowing that he would not be able to swim anymore. Loki arrived safely at the treasure chamber. However, before he could eat it, Ragnir lunged at him, narrowly grazing his head.

story 5

15 years ago, Ida fell ill. By then, Loki already considered her as his mother and made an effort to help her recover. On one occasion, he hunted a bull and offered it to him to eat, much to Mato's chagrin. However, during his journey to his mother's home village, Brewers, Loki was told by his relatives that Ida had been poisoned, believing that as a foreigner, she had no place in royalty and that it would damage her inheritance. Loki, enraged, razed the village, leaving the last man. As he grabbed him by the neck, Loki demanded to know if Ida would survive. He declared that Estrid and his entire family were nothing but trash and that he did not care at all about their situation. For his actions, Loki was imprisoned. There, in silence, he suffered the death of Ida.

story 4

Years later, Loki met one of the Charlotte family's daughters, Lola, with whom he fell in love at first sight. Lola's mother, Charlotte Linlin, arranged a marriage between the two of them, hoping to ally herself with the kingdom of Elbaph. However, Lola ended up escaping due to her desire to marry someone she truly loved. Because of this, Big Mom attempted to replace her with her twin (Chiffon). Despite this, the giants realized the deception and the wedding was called off, and the enmity increased. [20] [1]

story 3

The plan worked, as Harald returned to ensure Loki's safety. While he rested, Harald calmed down, seeing Loki was fine, and warned him not to do anything that might endanger him. Loki didn't understand his father's affection for him, refusing to believe that he would give up everything just to protect him. After Harald left to check on Rocks, Loki left his bed and overheard their conversation. After Rocks revealed his plan to conquer the world, Loki became fascinated with the pirate and began to idolize him.

For the next four years, Rocks remained in Elbaph, repeatedly asking Harald to join him. Although Harald turned him down, Loki was enthusiastic about working under Rocks and begged to join. On one occasion, while dining at a bar, Loki challenged Rocks to a fight after being rejected again. Rocks swiftly and brutally defeated him.

On another occasion, while Rocks was away, Loki attempted to leave on a boat. Due to its large size, the vessel capsized, causing Loki to nearly drown. A nearby fisherman spotted him and saved him, before taking him to Ida's tavern to recover. Shortly after, Harald came to scold Loki, making Loki resentful of being rescued. Ida had long since noticed Loki's loneliness and kindly offered him a place to stay with her and her brother (Hajrudin). Both siblings immediately rejected the idea of spending more time together. Loki even accused Ida of being a "gold digger" just to stay at the castle. Harald again scolded Loki for saying such things to his beloved, but Ida only laughed. Loki kept calling them 'weak' and that, eventually, he would leave and explore the world, just like Rocks.

story 2

Forty-eight years ago, after Harald's departure, he led a group of beasts into a village, wreaking havoc. His half-brother, Hajrudin, confronted him about his misdeeds and, more importantly, about the fact that their father had forged the village. Loki mocked him before beating him for standing in his way. Hajrudin's friends came to his aid, which enraged Loki because he had no friends. To save face, he insulted Hajrudin for being weak and for his mother's "impure" blood. When the guards tried to arrest him, Loki attacked them in a rage. All of this led Hajrudin to hold a grudge against Loki.

Loki then attempted suicide by jumping out of the Underworld, but wept because he didn't die. As fate would have it, the up-and-coming pirate Rocks D. Xebec washed up on Elbaph with his crewmates. While Edward Newgate and Shiki were puzzled by Loki, Rocks had only two questions for him: were they on Elbaph, and was Harald there? Loki wiped away his tears, confirming that they were on Elbaph, but Harald was not there, having traveled. Rocks was shocked to learn that Loki is Harald's son and quickly devised a plan to have Loki fake an injury to lure Harald back early. Loki was immediately outraged by Rocks' demands, refusing to obey someone he had just met. As he prepared to fight, Rocks attacked Loki.

story 1

Loki was born, on Elbaph, 63 years ago, about ten months after five-year-old Charlotte Linlin was abandoned on the island by her parents. [15] Prior to Loki's birth, his father prophesied that his son would kill him. [13] Loki's birth was unpleasant: His mother, Estrid, horrified by his gigantic and ancient features, ordered stunned nannies to kill him. When they refused, she threw him from the castle into the Elbaph Underworld, despite the nannies' protests. Loki survived the fall and managed to crawl up. His mother, unable to bear him, fell ill. While bedridden, she again ordered his death, but the guards refused. He died of an illness, a year later, but his words about Loki's "curse" haunted him, for the rest of his life. Despite his mother's alienations, the citizens of Elbaph celebrated Loki's birth on the Winter Solstice Festival. In the year of his birth, the royal steed, the "lucky horse", died, and the hero Jorul was shamefully killed by Linlin. A year later, his mother died of unknown causes and natural disasters began to ravage Elbaph. 53 years ago, aged ten, Loki used his strength to force the lords of the mountains to serve him, under threat of being killed. He then proceeded to whip up the beasts in the villages, wreaking massive havoc. [13] Despite how their relationship began, the beasts formed a friendly relationship with Loki[11]

arms

Loki's primary weapon is a hammer called Ragnir. When Loki uses his hammer, he can unleash gigantic lightning bolts, from the clouds, to attack whatever he has hit. In the past, he used a similar, albeit much more ornate version that was shattered when hitting Ragnir.

In his childhood, Loki used a large club covered in spikes.

skills

Loki is one of the few people in the world capable of using haoshoku haki, and he has enough mastery to infuse his attacks into him. After hearing Scopper Gaban's explanation that it takes haoshoku haki to defeat the "immortal" Knights of God, he showed confidence that he could defeat them. Faced with a Harald controlled by his Pact made with Imu, his attacks served to regain his consciousness, while slowing down his regeneration, before his next attack with Ragnir, imbued with haoshoku haki, was powerful enough to kill him.

However, Loki did not realize the effects of his attacks on an immortal, until he heard Gaban's explanation that it takes haoshoku haki to defeat the "immortal" Knights of God.

skills

Devil Fruit
Main article: Ryu Ryu Fruit: Nidhoggr model
Loki ate the Ryu Ryu Ryu Fruit: Nidhoggr model that was guarded by Elbaph's royal lineage. [6] It is a mythical zoan-type devil fruit that transforms its user into Nidhoggr, the largest dragon in the world. A peculiarity is that the size of the beast form depends directly on the size of the user, which is why it is said that only an ancestral giant like Loki could make the most of its power. In addition, as an additional power, it is capable of summoning lightning.

Haki
Kenbunshoku Haki
Main article: Kenbunshoku Haki
Loki has proven to be a very competent user of the Kenbunshoku Haki, being able to sense Luffy's presence in front of him, despite being blindfolded[3] and was also able to dodge an attack from the Gear 4 at point-blank range. [11] With his eyes still covered, he sensed and accurately predicted how Gunko would attack him. [21] Likewise, Loki is able to walk in specific directions without any problem, fourteen years ago, he and Jarul went to the palace where his father Harald lived. [14]

physical abilities

After fainting, Gerd said that it would surely take months for him to heal from all his wounds, but Loki managed to recover and fight back, a few hours after receiving treatment and eating a lot, showing remarkable resilience.

physical abilities

Physical
abilities Loki's endurance is extraordinary, as he has been chained with seastone, for almost six years, but he has not succumbed to the frigid weather of Elbaph's Underworld and even managed to escape, at one point. In addition, Loki has an impressive reaction speed and is able to dodge an attack from the Gear 4 at point-blank range, while tied up and blindfolded. [11] Loki's strength is also completely monstrous, even by the standards of giants, as he is powerful enough to kill his father, along with a hundred giant warriors, single-handedly; at the age of ten, he was even able to kill many beasts in Elbaph's Underworld, single-handedly, as well as control the rest, to do as he commanded. [13] During his rampages, as a child, he terrorized the giants and overwhelmed, without issue, his half-brother, whom he surpassed in size, despite being 18 years old.

Loki's endurance is incredible, as he has remained chained in seastone for almost six years, and has not succumbed to the frigid climate of Elbaph's Underworld and even managed to escape, at one point. Even after being beaten repeatedly by Manmayer Gunko, using the powers of his fruit and having been stabbed in the chest by multiple giant swords, Loki immediately got up, after being partially freed, raised his hammer and bluffed himself, before succumbing to his wounds. Despite being weakened by being a Devil Fruit user, he said that having only one leg trapped would do little to contain his power, and he quickly proved it, showing enough power to wield his massive warhammer without any problems.

skills

Still, despite his current situation, Loki has retained influence over a small group of loyal humans, as well as a number of wild beasts, which he claims to have befriended, in his childhood. This allows Loki to continue to threaten anyone to cooperate, assuming they manage to survive long enough in Elbaph's underworld, to encounter him. [11]

Loki is shown to have great willpower, as he refused to obey the Knights of God, despite being tortured.

skills

Loki is extremely powerful, even among giants, and is known to have required all of Elbaph's greatest warriors to keep him in check, even while he was imprisoned. [6] He is considered the strongest warrior in all of Elbaph and many giants believe that Loki has enough power to destroy the world, if he were to be free again. [11] When fighting his father, King Harald, Loki killed over a hundred giant warriors (including some possessing ancestral giant's blood) and his father (who was considered a great warrior), with the only survivors being Jarul and Loki himself. [19] In recognition of his capabilities, the World Government has issued a special bounty of Belly 2,600,000,000[4] for Loki, although, currently, the details of why that bounty is considered "special" are unknown. [11] This "special" consideration has led to him being offered a position among the prestigious Knights of God. [13]

As prince of Elbaph, he previously had significant authority and influence over the warriors and citizens of Elbaph, which is said to be the strongest kingdom in the entire world; [1] [20] This included the privilege of proposing Big Mom's 23rd daughter, who was deeply hated by the giants, and the influence to end their resentment, if the marriage had succeeded. Conversely, anything that looked down on Loki, provoked the hatred of the giants, as evidenced by Big Mom's failed attempt to deceive him. [1] However, following his sentencing as a criminal and subsequent punishment, Loki no longer appears to have any real privileges. [6]

relationships 8

Rocks D. Xebec
At some point, Rocks D. Xebec visited Elbaph with Edward Newgate, where he met Loki. The giant prince requested to join his crew, as he admired him; Rocks refused, causing a fight between the two, as the boy challenged him. Rocks brutally beat Loki with a sword, taunting him and defeating him, leaving him to his fate. [18] Despite everything, Loki still admires Rocks and regrets being born in the "wrong era" due to only knowing him, when he was a child. Even long after Rocks' death, Loki holds a grudge against the World Government for his role in Rocks' death and despises his father for allying himself with them. When he learned of Rocks' death, he wept inconsolably.

Shanks
Shanks was the one who captured Loki, six years ago. [13] Loki has described Shanks as a "coward", though it is unknown if this was entirely intended to irritate Luffy, or if he perceived Shanks' methods of capturing him in that way. [11]

During his imprisonment, he befriended a person unknown to Den den mushi, but they have never had face-to-face
contact. [16]

World
Government Loki considers the World Government to be his enemy since they killed Xebec. Despite his own arrogance, he despises the World Nobles and considers them all to be "trash". When two of the Knights of God arrived on Elbaph to recruit Loki into their ranks, Loki refused, declaring that he would never stoop from warrior to "trash", even if it cost him the chance at his own freedom. [13] Even when Gunko resorted to violence to force Loki to accept his offer by torturing him, he continued to refuse to join them and eventually stuck his tongue out at them. [17]

Loki fell in love with Lola at first sight, even though she is the 23rd daughter of the giants' enemy: Charlotte Linlin. Disregarding his people's long-standing hatred for Linlin, Loki quickly proposed to Lola and arranged a political marriage, but Lola did not reciprocate the prince's feelings and fled to find her true love. Loki was able to uncover Linlin's attempt to cheat on him with Lola's twin sister Chiffon, whom he refused to marry, indicating that his love for Lola was more than superficial.

Monkey D. Luffy
Loki is greatly annoyed by Luffy, as the former's excitable and unpredictable nature tends to blind his own attempts at manipulative threats. Loki has attempted to convince and even force Luffy to release him, with little success. From his inner thoughts, it is clear that Loki wants to murder Luffy with his own hands, showing no interest in fulfilling the deal that he himself had proposed beforehand. [11]

That said, Loki was able to quickly discover that Luffy has a connection to Shanks, and used that information to his advantage, to gain Luffy's full attention. Despite Loki's inability to fight back, Luffy reacted with extreme aggression, when the giant prince began to insult Shanks, losing his usual carefree attitude that he had, until then, and reprimanding Loki for "joking", at Shanks' expense. [11]

Regent
Estrid's older brother, regent of Loki, was assigned to her charge shortly after his death. Like his mother, he mistreated Loki, even attempting to feed him rotten food when he was a baby. Eventually, he was found dead in the Underworld of Elbaph, prompting a sneer from Loki.

Despite
being unrelated by blood, Ida adored him as Harald's second son and Hajrudin's younger brother, and found his boldness adorable, inviting him to live with them, regardless of their insults. Ida's affection eventually caught on with Loki, who saw Ida as his mother. Upon learning that the people of his birth mother's village had poisoned her, Loki, furious, attacked them and set the village on fire for what they did to him.

His
relationship with Jarul can be described as filled with contempt, as Loki has no respect for him, even going so far as to mock him, telling him that, if there is a time, he is tired of living. Jarul, on the other hand, also disapproves of Loki for his opposition to Harald's more peaceful approach to Elbaph. In any case, they worked together to stop a controlled Harald, and Jarul risked his life so that Loki could obtain Elbaph's legendary Devil Fruit, before Harald. Afterwards, Jarul reluctantly agreed to Loki's demand to keep everything secret, but once Loki returned to Elbaph, Jarul went out of his way to save him, asking for amnesty. When the Knights of God invaded Elbaph, Jarul took advantage of this to tell the truth about Loki to Elbaph.

Hajrudin

Loki and his older half-brother, Hajrudin, got along badly, for a long time. Loki took advantage of his much larger status and social status to intimidate him, as Hajrudin was smaller and belittled his illegitimate ancestry, while Hajrudin tried to defend his father's lands from Loki's violent tantrums. Hajrudin was also angry, when Loki looked down on his mother, Ida, and for being an outsider. Although Harald asked his sons to work together to help Elbaph in the future, there is no indication that they put aside their differences and collaborated when Harald was alive. Loki did not tell Harald the truth about the murder, so he made his brother believe that he was a ruthless killer, just like the rest of Elbaph. Hajrudin desperately tried to stop Luffy from freeing Loki and, while keeping a Loki tied up, Hajrudin became so enraged by Harald's death that he considered killing his half-brother. Hajrudin's accusations caused Loki to defend himself against them. In the end, for Scopper Gaban, Loki went ahead and told the truth. With Gaban's support, Hajrudin believed Loki and apologized for his accusations, asking him to fight together for the sake of Elbaph.

relationships 3

Estrid
When Loki was born, his mother, Estrid, refused to recognize him as her son, as she found his appearance horrible, refusing to even take him by the hand and attempting to kill him, by throwing him into the Underworld of Elbaph and ordering his servants to declare that he had been stillborn. When Loki survived and climbed back up, Estrid became ill and began spreading Loki's hoaxes, such as that he was "cursed" and should be eliminated. In the future, this would harm Loki, as Elbaph would blame him for everything bad that happened, calling him "Cursed Prince".

Although he desired his affection as a baby and was moved to tears by his ruthless rejection, Loki came to despise Estrid completely; Even as a baby, he never forgot what his birth mother did to him, as her rejection and actions left him with deep emotional scars that negatively affected him. At first, he believed that Ida only treated him for money, just like Estrid did with Harald. Eventually, he rejected Estrid as a mother in favor of Ida, who truly loved him and treated him as her son despite being unrelated by blood. Because Esrid's relatives tried to kill Ida to obtain an inheritance, Loki furiously attacked them all, even going so far as to burn down his birth mother's hometown.

relationships 2

Harald
Loki is the second son of King Harald. While Harald loved his two sons, Loki had no respect for his father, as he shared conflicting ideals with him, bullying Hajrudin for his impure lineage. He also strongly disapproves of Harald's instructions to turn Elbaph into a more peaceful and civilized country, as well as his cooperation with the World Government (especially, after what they did to Rocks D. Xebec). He even called his father "Government dog", showing that the relationship between father and son had become strained. He also caused destructive pranks throughout the kingdom, when his father was away. Loki would eventually kill his father, in principle, for the legendary Devil Fruit that the family guarded. However, Loki claimed that he did not do so out of foolishness. The reality was that Harald asked him to kill him to prevent Imu from controlling him in order to mobilize Elbaph's forces in the service of the World Government. Although resentful of Harald for his absence as a father, Loki ultimately loved him, when he was forced to kill him, as he remembered that Harald, lovingly, took him in his hands, when he was a baby, being his only memory of him as a father

relationships 1

Giants of Elbaph
As the rightful prince of Elbaph, Loki was a deeply respected individual. His birth was celebrated during a Winter Solstice Festival[15]. Even when he proposed to Charlotte Linlin's 23rd daughter, a person much hated by the entire race of giants, his subjects seemed to support him, wholeheartedly, when he confessed his love to Lola. Had the marriage been a success, the giants' hatred for Linlin would have ceased, showing that their respect for Loki was stronger than their universal hatred for Linlin. Consequently, when Lola escaped and Linlin attempted to pass off her twin Chiffon as a replacement, the giants came to detest Linlin even more for offending their prince.

All this respect turned to contempt, when he murdered his father and imprisoned him. Today, it is known as the Shame of Elbaph. [3]. While resisting arrest, he stabbed Jarul in the forehead with a sword. For his crimes, Loki was sentenced to crucifixion, and Elbaph's strongest warriors had to remain on high alert, to prevent his escape. [3]

personality 2

As his friend, Mosa, pointed out, Loki seems to have a softer and more compassionate side, as Loki suggested that he would have killed everyone who, recently, made Mosa's situation much worse. However, Loki is strongly opposed to being portrayed as a kind person, even getting very furious with his friend, suggesting that he does not tolerate being described as a good person. [12]

Despite this, he protects and cares for those he came to love, such as his adoptive mother, Ida, who was the only person other than Harald to care for him. Loki lashed out violently at his maternal relatives, when they confessed to fatally poisoning her, declaring that he did not care about any inheritance. When Ida finally succumbed to the poisoning, Loki remained solemn, feeling guilt and remorse for the death of his mother's relatives. He also cried, upon killing Harald, at his request.

Another display of Loki's moral side, is when he refused the Knights of God's offer to join their ranks, refusing to sink to the level of the Heavenly Dragons, even though it cost him the opportunity to be freed. [13] And he would again reject a similar offer from Monkey D. Luffy, exclaiming that he will never become anyone's subordinate. [14]

He has a distinctive laugh: "Dogahaha" (ドガハハ, Dogahaha?).

personality 1

As a result of being rejected from birth and having grown up without love, in addition to being blamed for countless misfortunes, Loki grew up unable to understand those types of feelings, coming to reject any type of love with just a few months to live. So much so, that on at least one occasion he tried to commit suicide, coming to despise his own existence. Already in his adolescence, Loki had apparently accepted to be considered the greatest misfortune in Elbaph, causing destruction and chaos around him, however, all this was nothing more than an unconscious act that he performed in order to fill the emptiness he felt inside, but he was unable to succeed in that aspect. [10]

He can't stand being deceived and seems to be resentful, such as when Big Mom tried to convince him that Chiffon was Lola,[1] exacerbating his people's hatred of the empress. Likewise, when Luffy attacks him when he taunts Shanks, he promises that, when he manages to free himself, he will kill him. [11] Also, as the prince of giants, Loki displays a haughty attitude (which he makes clear, when he orders Luffy to introduce himself, telling him his name and what he is doing there).

Being an extremely proud giant, Loki generally has little respect for humans, insulting even those who follow him, and having trouble remembering their names (much like how Luffy sometimes does to other people). However, he is good with animals, as he befriended Elbaph's wild beasts as a child and relied on them as a way to threaten others to comply. [11] The only human he has looked up to has been Rocks D. Xebec, wanting to be part of his crew as a child.

Loki hates the World Nobles and would rather be chained than join them. Even when he and his companions were tortured by Gunko, he refused, at all costs and with a defiant attitude, wanting to channel his rage to destroy the world.

appearance

Appearance
Loki is a relatively lanky giant, by the standards of his race, with long pink hair,[9] combed in two braids in the front, but disheveled in the back. He has a goatee, full lips, and tattoos on his arms. Like most of the giants of Elbaph, he dresses in Viking fashion, including a dark, wide-rimmed helmet with a pair of long horns extending upwards (the one on the left tied, in place, with a bandage), as well as a dark set of gloves, pants, boots, a purple cloak,[9] and a belt with a crowned Jolly Roger design worn over his abdomen. Having ancestral giant's blood from his father's side, he has a pair of long horns that extend upwards, with the left being bound with a bandage. In addition, he has eyes with slanted pupils and black sclera (a trait that has not been seen in any other giant). He has been blindfolded, since his childhood.

When Loki proposed to Lola, he was wearing a crown and a cloak.

about the

I am the "Sun God" who will end this world!! Loki!!
Loki introducing himself to Luffy.

For other uses, see: "Sun God (disambiguation)".
Loki (ロキ, Roki?), known as The Cursed Prince (呪われた王子, Norowareta ōji?) and the Shame of Elbaph (エルバフの恥, Erubafu no Haji?) [3] is the prince of Elbaph, being the son of King Harald and Hajrudin's younger half-brother. [6] He was also Lola's agreed fiancé, before she ran away. [1]

He was partially chained[7] after killing his father to supposedly obtain a legendary Devil Fruit and refers to himself as the Sun God (太陽の神, Taiyō no Kami?), a deity worshipped by the population of Elbaph, and stating that he will be the one to "end the world". [3] But after revealing the truth behind his father, Loki was freed by Hajrudin, reconciling between them and joining forces to confront the Knights of God and Imu. [8]

First mentioned during the Whole Cake Island arc, he is formally introduced to the Elbaph arc acting as an important ally of the Straw Hat Pirates.
