He never removes the black mask that covers the upper half of his face. Only his thin, always mockingly pursed lips and heavy chin are visible. They say there's emptiness or a terrible scar beneath the mask, but the truth is simpler: the mask has become his face, a symbol that he's not a man, but a function.
