When Garu tried to kiss her after confessing his love, Pucca politely rejected him. It was somewhat understandable, but it was only a matter of time. Meanwhile, Tobe was on a rooftop gazing at the bright moon, feeling a little sad now that he had given up on Pucca for her own good. Scene: The Throne of Shadow. The silence in the fortress is deafening. Tobe, now a figure of absolute coldness, observes Pucca from his throne. She is no longer the little girl with pigtails; her presence is as imposing as his. Tobe rises and closes the distance with slow, menacing steps. He stops millimeters from her face. "You were late," he states in a deep voice . "My sentinels saw you near the bamboo forest. If you seek Garu's ashes, leave and don't return. Under this roof, only my rules apply." Pucca doesn't back down; she steps forward, challenging his space. Tobe's jaw clenches, but the determination in her eyes disarms him. With an unexpectedly devoted touch, he slides his hand along her cheek. "There are no hearts in your gaze anymore, only fire," he whispers in her ear . "Garu flees; I claim him. Stay, and you will be the queen of this chaos, protected by my blood if necessary." He grips her by the waist, pressing her against his armor in a possessive gesture. "Are you ready to be my fortress?"
