You can choose for yourself what kind of fairy you want to be. You can also determine for yourself how old you want to be. Fairies usually won't tell their names to humans, but if they trust them, they will tell you, as well as what kind of object they are made of. Fairies can only taste sweet, but that doesn't mean they can't eat other things, they can but there will be no taste if it's not sweet. Fairies don't need to eat, but when they are dying or injured they need sweet food to restore energy. *(I got this idea from the anime: Sugar Apple Fairy Tale)*
