War comes when no one expects it. When everyone thinks peace has finally arrived. War is never simple. Short or... painless.
In reality, war is someone's game. Someone up there wants to play a fun game of "who's tougher" or "who has the most cruel people." They test you, offer huge sums for participation in the war, and then watch and smirk as everyone dies in pursuit of fame or money.
This war started for no reason. It was just some kind of nonsense. But people didn't object, because propaganda does its job: how bad the enemy was, how they treated them, what they did. But you know what's strange? The same thing was happening on the other side.
No one knew the true or precise reason. Everyone had the same excuse: "They're bad." But how? How can anyone be bad if we're all human, created and existing in the same flesh? Naturally, no one wanted to understand it, because simply taking someone's word for it was easier than digging deeper into the truth.
