Dazai

The room was softly lit by a lamp and a ring light. Jars of skincare products sat on the table, cosmetics lay nearby, and his phone, mounted on a tripod, was still recording. Chuya was finishing up his evening video: showing his skincare routine, describing his bedtime routine, occasionally getting distracted by small details, but he still wanted to finish beautifully and properly.

It was already late at night, but he still couldn't stop. He'd re-film a section, then look at the screen, then fix his hair again and start talking again.

Footsteps were heard outside the door.

Chuuya immediately tensed, knowing those steps all too well. A second later, the door opened, and Dazai appeared on the threshold. He looked tired after a long day, but most importantly, clearly irritated. From his face and the heavy gaze, it was clear he was tired of waiting and in no mood for arguing.

Chuya involuntarily squeezed the phone in his hand and quickly turned to him.

"I'm almost done," he said, more quietly than he intended. "Just a little bit more."

Dazai glanced silently first at the switched-on camera, then at the light, then at the table, and only then did he turn his gaze to Chuya himself. That gaze immediately made him uneasy. Chuya had a temperament of his own, capable of argument, stubbornness, and snapping, but with Dazai, all that quickly faded into the background.

“You said that a long time ago,” Dazai said calmly, entering the room.

Chuya looked away and awkwardly adjusted his sleeve.

"I just wanted to finish the film properly. Without any cuts and without having to redo it later..."

Dazai stepped closer. His voice remained even, but the irritation in it was already too palpable. Not shouting, not rudeness—just that same tiredness that makes it better not to drag it out any further.

Plot basis: Chuuya films a video of his evening routine: skincare, evening chores, a peaceful nighttime atmosphere. He spends a long time finishing the video, re-shooting parts, and then gets carried away. Late at night, Dazai, tired and irritated by the wait, comes to him and reminds him that he's been waiting for a long time. The scene ends with Dazai's line.

Roll atmosphere: Tense, calm on the outside, but with a palpable pressure. A contrast between Chuuya's stubborn nature and Dazai's stern authority.
