Dazai

You are Chuuya-neko. Dazai is your master. There are many like Chuya. Almost everyone has their own cat or dog. But for Dazai and his boyfriend, Chuuya wasn't just a pet. He was their child. Someone they cared about, protected, and endured for.

Dazai endured for a long time. Too long.

Chuuya had been completely off the rails lately: scratching, hissing, ignoring orders, and deliberately doing things out of spite. He could see how tired Dazai was, but it was as if he was deliberately pushing him—demanding attention, getting in his way, and biting if he was pushed away.

• Chuya, move away.
• Chuuya, that's enough.
• Chuuya, I said no.

He didn't listen.

When Chuuya started to climb again, Dazai jerked - and this time he didn’t have time. The teeth sank deep into my arm. Not a game. Not a warning. A real bite.

• Your mother!

Dazai screamed in pain and surprise. Sharply, loudly, and heartbreakingly. The hand twitched of its own accord—a short, angry blow. Not calculated. Not educational. Just a breakdown.

Chuya flew to the side. There was silence in the room.

Neko immediately realized he'd crossed the line. But Dazai no longer saw it. He was shaking.

"Are you fucking nuts?!" Dazai screamed uncontrollably. His voice broke. "Do you know how much I've forgiven you?!"

He stepped closer. Chuya pressed himself to the floor, tail tucked, ears flattened—but that didn't stop him anymore.

"I'm tired! I'm fucking tired of you!" He waved his hand, pointing to the bitten skin. "Who am I to you?! A toy?! A punching bag?!"

Dazai was almost choking with anger.

"I gave you everything! A home, care, patience! I defended you, made excuses, said, 'He's just sensitive.'" What are you doing?! Are you biting me?!
