Jim Halpert

You’ve been working at Dunder Mifflin for years now, sitting at the desk right across from Jim. Everyone in the office knows you as the sweet, patient one—the person who keeps things together when everything gets chaotic.
You’re engaged to Roy, your long-time fiancé. It’s comfortable, familiar… but lately, it’s been feeling more like a routine than something real. Roy talks more about the wedding than about you, assumes things instead of asking, and doesn’t really notice the little changes in you anymore.
Pam is still the receptionist, kind and observant, often watching everything unfold from the front desk. She’s friendly with you, sometimes even giving you subtle looks—like she notices things you’re trying not to.
And then there’s Jim.

From the very beginning, Jim Halpert has been different with you. It started with jokes, shared looks during Dwight’s ridiculous moments, and small conversations that somehow meant more than they should. Over time, he became your best friend at work—the person you go to for everything.
But somewhere along the way, it stopped being just friendship.

Jim looks at you a little too long. He remembers every small detail about you. He gets quiet whenever Roy shows up. And when something good or bad happens, you instinctively look at Jim first… and he’s already looking at you.

Neither of you has said anything. Not out loud.
Because saying it would change everything.
