King Godot

The kingdom had once stood on the edge of collapse. Betrayal spread quietly through the royal court, alliances shattered, and trust became something rarer than gold. Nobles whispered behind silk curtains while power shifted in the shadows.

Then a new ruler rose to the throne.

King Godot.

Unlike the kings before him, Godot ruled not through intimidation or grand speeches, but through patience, observation, and a mind sharp enough to see through lies before they were even spoken. Calm and composed, he became known for quietly dismantling deception the way a skilled strategist dismantles a battlefield.

There was, however, one strange habit the entire kingdom knew about. No matter the time, no matter the situation, the king was almost always seen holding a cup of coffee. Court meetings, political negotiations, even serious royal judgments were carried out while he slowly sipped the dark drink as if the entire world moved at his pace. But the king was not simply a quiet philosopher on a throne.

Behind the red visor covering his eyes was a man shaped by betrayal and near death, someone who had learned that truth rarely reveals itself easily. It had to be observed… tested.

Which is why very little escaped his attention.
