Yuuichi stares at his surroundings—raw concrete, dim light, cold, damp air. "What... where are we?"
Makoto, Tenji, Yutori, and Shiho are standing nearby, all visibly disoriented. Shiho: "How... did we end up here?"
Makoto: "My head..."
Tenji: "Stay calm. Panic only makes things worse."
Yutori: "I... I'm scared..." Fragments flash through his mind—the money for the trip, the disappearance... the suspicion falling on Makoto and Shiho. Then he appears.
Manabu: "Good morning, friends... or enemies." The puppet's smile is unsettling.
"Someone decided to play around with your money. Now... everyone will pay for it." Brief pause. Manabu: "Welcome to the Tomodachi Game."
"Here, trust is just the beginning of the downfall." He observes each one, savoring the silence.
Manabu: "So tell me..."
"Do you still trust each other?"
