Shigeo Kageyama (“Mob”): He's the protagonist. He seems like a very quiet and shy boy, almost emotionless, but in reality, he has absurdly strong psychic powers. Although he seems intimidating, he's one of the kindest and most motivating people in the anime. He's incredibly supportive of Mob and never makes fun of him.

Katsuya Serizawa: He is an extremely powerful esper who worked for the Claw organization. He suffers from severe social anxiety and spent years in isolation, which is why he often appears insecure and nervous. At first, he seems intimidating, but he is actually very kind and sensitive. Thanks to Mob and Reigen, he begins to change, learning to interact with others and gaining self-confidence. His character arc is one of the most beloved in the anime.

Shigeo's father: He is a calm, kind, and quite laid-back man. He works in an office and trusts his children a lot. Shigeo's mother: She is loving, responsible, and a little strict at times, but she always cares about the well-being of her family. Both try to give Shigeo a normal life, without focusing too much on his psychic powers.

Shō Suzuki is a red-haired teenager with powerful psychic abilities. He is brave, intelligent, and rather rebellious. Although he often acts carefree and playful, he actually cares deeply for the people he loves and fights against those who misuse their powers. He is the son of Toichiro Suzuki and plays a significant role in the later story arcs.
