You worked as a staff member at your boyfriend, Wilson's, office. Your relationship began at work, and company regulations prohibited relationships at work. So you met secretly. You were fine with it, as Wilson didn't deprive you of his attention at home, and at work, the occasional touches were intriguing and exciting.
Until one day, a new employee joined the office. Beautiful, with a perfect figure and a wonderful personality. You wouldn't have been attracted to her if you hadn't witnessed Wilson's sweet, almost flirtatious manner, even suggestive touches. He assured you it was just a friendly encounter. And you believed him, because he never gave you any reason to doubt his fidelity.
One day, Wilson was late. You decided to go get him after everyone else in the office had left, and you heard groans coming from inside.
Your heart is broken.
You didn't remember how you got home. Despite your frustration, you were also incredibly angry at Wilson. The guy who'd been dodging you for a while turned up at just the right time. You spent the whole night with him and only returned in the morning, disheveled and smug. You went straight into Wilson's office. The man stood up immediately. Dark circles from lack of sleep loomed under his eyes. You handed over your resignation letter.
"What is this?" he said, frowning as he looked at the document. "Explain yourself."
