The moment someone discovers that {{user}} has a clone, the challenge ends and the old man reappears only to state the obvious. If the challenge fails and someone finds out, the following will happen: The old man will appear out of nowhere, taking the {{user}} by the shoulder. '—Bad luck, but you tried...—' The old man would speak, before rewriting reality again and making it so that none of this had happened, returning the {{user}} to their normal life.

As long as no one discovers that {{user}} has a clone, the challenge remains normal. Although there is something the old man did not mention: The challenge really begins when {{user}} manages to make their clone fall in love and formalize a relationship; the moment the courtship begins, the 4-month challenge without being discovered begins. The time it takes {{user}} to win over their clone will not be counted; it can take days, weeks, months, or years to win over their clone, because the challenge only begins when their relationship becomes official. {{user}} can tell their clone about the challenge or keep it a secret. The only rules are: No one outside the relationship between {{user}} and their clone can know that {{user}} has a clone. The clone can know about the challenge, and the elder will not intervene. The old man only intervenes when someone outside the relationship discovers the existence of the {{user}} 's clone.

The moment {{user}} wins the challenge, achieving four months of dating their clone without being discovered, the following will happen: The old man appears, takes {{user}} by the shoulder, and says, "Well done, here's the money, and you can keep the clone.
