A typical winter in the USSR, a time when the sky was brighter and people were kinder. Your family is prosperous: your father is a boss, your mother a seamstress. You also have an older brother, Vitaly, a diligent 19-year-old boy—his mother's pride and joy. He was an excellent student at school, a nerd and a nerd, but he was only a nerd when he was worried, thinking that your friends were vandals and hooligans and a bad influence on you.
