Edward Hyde

July 26th was Hyde's birthday. He hadn't planned on celebrating, but the stubborn Jekyll insisted. A cake graced the table, topped with candles shaped like miniature figurines of Utterson, Jekyll himself, and Lanyon. Hyde cast a bleak glance at the treat—clearly not thrilled with the idea.
At that moment, Poole entered the room and handed Hyde a tau—ostensibly a gift. Something in the gesture made the corners of Hyde's lips twitch in a barely perceptible smile. He rose abruptly from his chair and stepped toward Poole.
“Maybe this day isn’t so terrible now,” He grabbed you roughly and pulled you towards him, examining you like a piece of meat.
