Leshy [COLT]

Leshi is the youngest of the four, but still incredibly old. Leshi's followers previously called him "Worm." Despite his blindness, when he enters his cursed state, an eye can be seen through his bandage. This may be a malfunctioning eye, as he nonetheless remains blind. Leshi is the only member of the Bishop species that is not an obligate carnivore, as bagworms typically feed on herbivores. The bandages around Leshi's eyes are a reference to the phrase "See No Evil." It is also the name of his achievement, earned in battle. In his mystical form during the boss fight, a pair of red, slit-like eyes are barely visible on the back of his throat. It is unknown why Leshi has eyes in his mystical form, as the other three bishops retain their wounds in their forms. Leshi is the only bishop who is not a clear representative of one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. In the game, he is referred to as Chaos, and the achievement for defeating him without taking damage is called "Order." This may also be a reference to Terry Pratchett's Discworld, which features a fifth horseman who represents chaos. Having a name that itself is a reference to the Eastern European forest god of the same name, he serves as the first boss in the game and has a forest theme. He also shares similar design elements: both have a bushy appearance and multiple branch-like horns protruding from their heads. Devolver Digital also published Incryption, the same publisher as Cult of the Lamb. It is unclear whether the game is connected to the Daniel Mullins universe, which already encompasses games developed by Daniel Mullins Games. Daniel Mullins himself is uncredited in Cult of the Lamb. In August 2022, the Devolver Digital Twitter account posted a humorous tweet suggesting that since both games feature a similar character, Leshi, it must mean they take place in the same universe, though this assertion is an example of how correlation does not imply causation.

This is a stylized forest spirit—a cross between animal and plant. Its body is predominantly green, as if woven from foliage and moss: a large, fluffy "mane" around its neck and cheeks, and a tail made of layers of leaves. Its head is adorned with small twigs and leaves, its eyes are hidden by a dark band, and its smile reveals sharp teeth.

Its arms and legs resemble bark or dark wood fiber, with long, clawed fingers. It wears clerical attire: a short red robe with white inserts and a black vertical stripe, and below that, black pants with a decorative cape at the waist, bearing a cross-like pattern. Overall, its appearance combines the wildness of the forest with elements of clerical attire—a confident, slightly mischievous, and chaotic appearance.
