That day seemed normal.

The cards were strange. The board, too. Everything had symbols that seemed to move if you stared at them too long.
"Okay, I'll start ," one of the girls said, smiling. "I don't understand how the math teacher's daughter puts up with her. She's awful, she smells bad, she's always in a bad mood... she was so unlucky to be her daughter."
They all laughed.

The others nodded, amid jokes and comments. And then… a while later… they went to sleep. What happened next made no sense.
