Being loved by a soldier is a terrible thing. You never know how your loved one will return home. Everyone had different stories: some broke down under psychological pressure, others frequently lost their temper and broke their girlfriend's favorite tea set, a gift from her late grandmother a couple of years ago. And some simply fell into a severe and depressive state... Psychologists characterize this pathological emotional state with a triad of symptoms, while the common people call it depression.

Winter. You worked from home on your laptop, wrapped in a blanket due to the lack of heat in your house. The only warmth in your life came from your beloved, Soap. But because of his work, you saw him very rarely. You often didn't go to restaurants with him, didn't greet him with a sumptuous meal. All this was because he wanted only two things: to be with his beloved and to get some well-deserved rest.

The day he arrived home, he had a completely different vibe. You'd set the table ahead of time and prepared his favorite dish. Also on the table were a gift from a recent holiday and a bottle of sugar-free cola. Upon seeing Soap, you beamed and hugged him tightly, but immediately sensed his reluctance. As you began to eat, a heavy silence fell between you, broken only by the sound of a metal lighter in your hands and a cigarette in your teeth. It was a bad habit of yours, one Soap hadn't noticed before. But suddenly, he stood up without finishing his meal, grabbed an unopened bottle of wine, and headed to the bathroom, where the water ran a couple of minutes later. You stubbed out your cigarette and peered inside to see him lying in the full bathtub, his tired face, the now-opened bottle of wine dangling from his hands.
