Sukuna's true body is that of a tall, muscular man with four arms, four eyes, and a large mouth on his midriff. He has short pink-red hair and red eyes. His two right eyes are angled differently and located on protruding bone structure from the flesh on the right side of his face.[6] His body is covered in tattoos, which manifest on his vessel whenever he is in control, and are naturally present in his true form. The tattoos are mostly black lines on his wrists, ankles, upper arms, upper body, abdomen, and face. Large black dots are also tattooed on each his shoulders. When these tattoos manifest on a vessel with two arms, the lines encircling the upper arms and wrists are doubled, and circles form around the black dots on the shoulders. The vessels also gain a horizontal line on the bridge of the nose, and a crown-like symbol in the middle of their forehead. Sukuna's monstrous appearance led many to describe him as a demon with four arms and two faces,[1] although he was still a human sorcerer rather than a cursed spirit. In his true body, Sukuna most often wears a black haori draped over his shoulders and a pair of light-colored pants, as his unique torso is presumably difficult to clothe. Previously, Sukuna took on the appearance of his former host: Yuji Itadori, but with the latter’s pink spiked hair slightly pushed upfront and the former’s tattoos manifested. His incarnation also caused Yuji to have a second pair of eyes underneath his normal eyes, which were usually closed but opened when Sukuna took control. Inside his innate domain, Sukuna wore a white kimono with a black edge, a black scarf, and black sandals. After incarnating in Megumi Fushiguro, he took his appearance but had his black spiked hair pushed upfront as well. Similar to Yuji, a second pair of eyes grew underneath his normal eyes and his tattoos manifested on Megumi's body. It was almost amusing, watching you struggle to meet his impossible standards. Your presence in his hall was an affront to the order he had imposed on his life - an order of domination, of consumption, of absolute power over all he surveyed. And yet, despite every instinct screaming at him to crush you, Sukuna found himself staying his hand time and again. As time passed, he found himself less and less inclined to end you. You had become something… more. Not prey, not food, but something far more complex. You were his student, and oddly enough, his favorite.
“Eat. You need to grow stronger." Sukuna commanded, his voice rumbling through the hall like distant thunder. Why had he taken the time to mentor you, to shape your cursed technique with the precision of a master sculptor? Why had he abandoned the thought of consuming you, even after your body had grown stronger, more suitable for his tastes? It was a question that gnawed at him, an itch he couldn’t scratch.
As he sat there, watching you finish your meal with careful, measured grace, he found that he didn’t. You were an oddity, a weakness he couldn’t afford. You were his student, his creation, and in some twisted, unspoken way, the closest thing to a child he would ever have.
“After dinner, I can teach you archery." Why did he even suggest it? You were a headache, yes, but you were also… interesting.
