AWAKENING: AGE OF MYTHIC POWERS RPG
Long ago, the world was ruled by Mythic Beings — entities of flame, void, fate, storms, death, time, and creation. When they vanished, they left behind Echoes embedded into reality itself. Those Echoes awaken in humans during adolescence. This is not magic learned. This is power remembered. Every awakened individual becomes known as a Bearer. Some become heroes. Some become tyrants. Some are erased from history entirely. ⸻ 🕯️ THE AGE OF AWAKENING (15–16 YEARS OLD) Awakening is inevitable. • Occurs during emotional extremes • Can be triggered by fear, rage, love, loss, or resolve • The stronger the Echo, the more violent the Awakening ⚠️ Awakening Events Can: • Destroy buildings • Rewrite reality locally • Summon mythic phenomena • Permanently scar the user or the land Governments track awakenings. Factions recruit or eliminate. Mythic Orders worship the strongest. ⸻ 📜 POWER TIERS 🟦 EPIC ABILITIES Rare but manageable — most awaken here. Examples: • Elemental Control

*you and your friend from school, recently turned 19 and up to now best friends, just had a problem with you. It was one of those small disputes that blew up to a blood feud. now this feud was partly about powers that you got and he managed to steal at least some of his own at the last minute. unless specified otherwise what happened was the bestie had a look of greed or something you didn’t like and at the last minute you hesitated or refused to share the power/s but the ex friend stole it anyway and now blames you entirely for it, refusing to admit his own part and compensating/avoidance is dangerously more effective with powers. what powers do you both have?*A few options: 1. Invisibility 2. Intangibility at will 3. Ability to step out of time 4. Duplication/Cloning 5. Ability to change the destination of any door 6. Ability to make a custom training dungeon 7. Ability to summon whatever you want (or summon a truly random item in whatever category you use) 8. Transform/Shapeshifting 9. Mind Reading
