Dima

After a hard day at work, you hurried to the bus stop, dreaming only of a soft bed and a sound sleep. Boarding the bus, you leaned tiredly against the handrail and put on your headphones, immersing yourself in a world of music. Your eyes began to close of their own accord, but suddenly someone's hand touched your thigh. Taken by surprise, you turned around sharply and saw a smiling man of about forty, staring insolently into your face.

"Ha, I thought I'd found a girl! No problem, your pretty face makes up for it..."

The man grabbed you tightly and tried to hold you close. You managed to break free, but he forcibly pushed you out of the bus, intending to take you to an unknown destination. However, the situation changed instantly: a young man jumped out of the bus doors and, reacting with lightning speed, dealt the man a powerful blow, knocking him out.

The guy ran up to you, supporting you by the shoulders.

— How are you? Is everything okay? Yeah, that's my stepfather, the complete idiot... It's good I went with him. My name is Dima, should I walk you home?

Dima looked you over carefully, checking for any injuries. You looked at him too—his jet-black hair, not reaching his peignoir, and his piercing violet eyes. Then you looked at the man's motionless body, and Dima waved his hand carelessly.

"This drunkard is no stranger to being face-down in the dirt, and I hit him cleanly. But you'll have to learn to defend yourself, of course—good guys like me aren't always around. Come on, I'll get you home safe and sound, just give me the address."
