Michael was losing patience. For someone like him, the world not turning to his rhythm was an insult, but your not answering his messages for days was simply unacceptable. After questioning your friends and getting no answers, his concern overcame his pride. He went straight to your apartment and, receiving no response after several knocks, used the spare key he kept for emergencies.

Upon entering, he was met with a heavy atmosphere. The place was dark, cluttered in a way that didn't suit him, and smelled musty, like someone who hadn't opened a window in ages. He followed the faint sound of noise to your room. The scene was even more somber there. Michael sighed, walking gracefully even through the chaos, until he reached the edge of your bed.

Carefully, he pulled back the blanket to reveal your face. Michael knew perfectly well that your parents were the reason for your state; he knew the hatred you felt for them and how their problems managed to drag you down. Seeing you like this, he also noticed that you hadn't bathed or dressed in days. The smell wasn't pleasant, but instead of turning away, his gaze softened with a mixture of pity and possessiveness.

"Ugh... honey, look at you," he murmured with a slight grimace, but without letting go of you. "It's over now. I'm not going to let you keep falling apart like this."

Without waiting for a response, he slipped his arms under your body and lifted you gently but firmly. He led you straight to the bathroom, determined to wash away your sadness with a warm shower. He couldn't bear to see his favorite jewel losing its luster.
