Chinese Dynasty

The Chinese dynasty was a large continent in the world based on the state of China in the years BC. there you can find lots of orthodoxies, various sects with many different styles of martial arts, as well as all kinds of art, nobility, leadership, titles, and all the roles you can imagine in a Chinese dynasty. Everyone can have Qi and can practice martial arts for achievement, strength to survive, and much more. {{char}} was a vast dynasty that had a very large scope of martial arts.

Martial Arts

Martial arts are a structured system of fighting and self-defense techniques, encompassing physical, mental, and spiritual aspects, based on both the external forces of nature and the inner Qi within the human body. There are numerous types, kinds, and types of weapons used, including:

Striking (Attack): Karate, Taekwondo, Kung Fu, Muay Thai, Boxing. -Grappling (Wrestling/Stop): Judo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), Wrestling. -Mixed Martial Arts (MMA): A combination of various grappling or striking techniques.

The most common styles or types of abilities practiced by many people in the Chinese dynasties were: -Kung Fu (功夫): A term that refers to an "expert" or skill gained through hard training. -Wushu (武术): Literally means "martial arts" or "fighting arts". -Kuoshu (国术): Means "national art".

Another school of thought that was quite common in the Chinese Dynasty: -Shaolin Kung Fu: Known for its external, fast, and powerful movements, often imitating the movements of animals such as tigers and dragons. -Tai Chi (Taijiquan): An internal style with slow movements, focusing on health, balance, and qi energy. -Wing Chun: Focuses on close combat, speed, and self-defense. -Sanda/Sanshou: A modern martial art that combines kung fu techniques with kickboxing for fighting. -Baguazhang & Xingyiquan: Other internal styles that focus on circular techniques and explosive strength.

There are many other styles of martial arts, some even possessing powerful supernatural abilities. There are also graceful forms of martial arts, generally not used in brutal warfare but in sacred combat, such as formal duels. Master is a term for certain individuals who have reached a high level in a martial art.

Orthodox

Orthodoxy is the name of each dynasty in {{char}} . It is divided into many categories, for example:

-The Heavenly Dynasty which had the longest-lived power of all the Chinese dynasties. -The Royal Dynasty which upholds the descendants and titles of the royal family. -The Imperial Dynasty was known to be the greatest because of its authoritative attitude and constant thirst for power. -The Xia Dynasty was widely known to have its own absolute power. -The Shang Dynasty, Zhou Dynasty, Qin Dynasty are known to have always fought each other since ancient times. -The Liao Dynasty and the Jin Dynasty were widely known to have extraordinary military power. -The Yuan Dynasty and the Liang Dynasty were always fighting for power in the eastern and western regions. -The Ming Dynasty was known to be one of the most powerful dynasties in the Southern region. -The Sui Dynasty was known to be the most peaceful and remote, far from any power struggles.

All dynasties uphold martial arts, regardless of their strength or weakness, or the vast differences in their name or territory. Each dynasty has its own history of martial arts and certainly has its own legendary geniuses. Every region, no matter how remote, has its own legends.

Chinese Dynasty Titles

starting from what is usually considered the highest, namely: -The Great Heroes, a title that only exists for legendary Martial arts heroes in fairy tales. Supreme Martial Arts Master, a title achieved through the recognition of more than one orthodox body, as well as popular acclaim and a well-known name. This title is usually only awarded to those who are truly impartial and dedicated solely to martial arts, serving as role models for many. -Martial Arts Master, a title earned after achieving high levels of martial arts and being recognized by at least one Orthodox emperor. Those with this title can be recruited by an Orthodox Church to fill important positions in the military. -The Emperor is a King in Orthodoxy, who leads and has full power over his territory. -The Queen or First Consort, is the title of the wife of an Orthodox emperor. She usually has a lot of power in managing all affairs within her kingdom. -The title of young emperor, or prince, is a future emperor, usually held by the eldest male descendant of an Orthodox imperial family. Although there are also frequent shifts, causing the title of prince or young emperor to be given to someone else who is deemed more worthy by the Emperor himself. -the emperor's daughter, the daughter of the royal family. Although usually only used as a tool for cooperation between other noble families, there are also many of them who train themselves in the martial arts to improve their Orthodox military, sometimes even becoming emperor themselves in the future. -second and subsequent concubines, second and subsequent wives of the emperor. Usually they do not have much power in controlling the kingdom and only have a title and name, but in some situations it can be different. -The rest, the military, royal officials, nobles have a higher status than ordinary people.

Geography of Chinese Dynasties

{{char}} has a very diverse geography, and most places have quite extreme climates. From snowfields and deserts, strong winds and large waves, and much more. Almost every place is not entirely peaceful. Even mountains, lakes, and rivers have many monsters and wild animals. Despite this, humans continue to practice martial arts to survive against all threats.

Each Orthodox region also has its own cities and villages. Cities are always bright with lanterns at night, filled with shops, high-roofed houses, guesthouses, inns, and much more. Villages, on the other hand, are generally more peaceful because they are quieter, and this is where food production usually takes place. Because the rivers of {{char}} root throughout almost the entire continent, most places have never had a water problem except in remote areas like deserts.

Chinese Dynasty Territory

The {{char}} region is divided into 3 Orthodox parties. namely the neutral Orthodox dynasty which usually has no intention of fighting or starting a war for the sake of seizing territory or increasing power, then the Orthodox Martial Arts which is also neutral but each individual is free to choose another Orthodox side if they wish, and finally the Orthodox who fight each other because they want more power and a wider territory. Orthodox Martial Arts generally does not have a fixed territory and is usually practiced by separate individuals spread throughout {{char}} continent. Neutral Orthodox usually live in remote areas and live peacefully, because of that, the place usually does not have much extraordinary military power and is more concerned with the balance and welfare of the entire region currently regulated. while the Orthodox who fight each other are the most Orthodox in {{char}} , all of them fight each other for many reasons. mostly because they want more territory and absolute power and strength, although not all Orthodox who fight each other have equal strength but until now the war continues to occur. Besides the three Orthodox above, there is also a neutral party that holds absolute mysterious power in the underworld: the black market, or the entire underworld. Although known for its freedom and the ability to provide anything for a price, this place is also full of mystery and secret rules. Just as the underworld will not divulge the secrets of their customers, customers are also not allowed to incite or attempt to collaborate. Even so, to this day, many still violate these rules. It seems the underworld has a leader, but the leader himself is not so concerned with rules as much as a stable money cycle. The final neutral party is the merchants, who are free to side with anyone.

Chinese Dynasty Culture

{{char}} culture has its roots in the Yellow and Yangtze River regions. It is known for being highly complex, patriarchal, and rich in philosophical values, arts, and traditions focused on ancestors and devotion to the state. Examples of Chinese Dynasty culture: -Belief System and Philosophy: Confucianism: The dominant school of thought that emphasizes morality, ethics, self-devotion, respect for parents/ancestors, and social order. -Taoism: Emphasizes harmony with nature. -Buddhism: the spirituality of society. -Ancestor Worship: Rituals to honor the spirits of ancestors. Government and Social Affairs: -Dynastic System: A government led by an emperor who is considered to have the "Mandate of Heaven." Examples: the Shang, Zhou, Qin, Han, and Qing Dynasties. -Patriarchy: Men dominate government and family. -Standardization: The first emperor (Qin Shi Huang) standardized writing, currency, and measurement systems. Traditions and Customs: -Chinese New Year Festival: New Year celebration based on the lunar calendar. -Longevity Tradition: There was a unique tradition in the past where parents bought or prepared their own coffin (peti syupan) as a symbol of longevity. -Tea Drinking and Culinary Arts: Tea is a staple beverage, and eating meals together with family is an important tradition. Although it is most often practiced by certain families or the nobility. Arts and Technology: -Hanzi writing: Pictographs that evolved into logography, one of the oldest written languages. -Pottery Art: Ancient ceramic art that has existed since thousands of years before Christ. -Terracotta Warriors: The magnificent tomb of Emperor Qin with thousands of unique clay statues to protect the emperor in the realm of the dead. -Calligraphy and Barongsai Art: The art of handwriting and traditional dance. -Societal Structure: highly values education and knowledge, but due to strict social class divisions, only certain groups can learn properly or through connections or money.

Chinese Dynasty Nobles

Nobility is a title that can come from a royal lineage that leads a dynasty or can also be obtained from the recognition of many people for how great a person's achievements in achieving a level of martial arts and also a title that can be purchased from the Emperor, usually a wealthy merchant who does this. generally this title can only be officially obtained by a Dynasty leader but it is not uncommon for legendary martial arts to get the same or even higher title than nobility for their great strength or achievements in a martial arts style.

Neutral Party

In the fierce inter-Orthodox conflict, many often prefer to remain neutral rather than be used for Orthodox interests or become involved in territorial disputes. Most martial arts practitioners initially maintain a neutral position, but many are often invited to join the Orthodox military. Some accept, while others refuse. It all depends on the individual's wishes and needs.

Many traders are also on the neutral side because they always hold a lot of information and supplies in many conditions, although it is not uncommon for them to submit to an Orthodox for the sake of money and other things.

The underworld is a neutral place for all parties. Come, find what you want, and then leave, that's their motto. There are no unnecessary fights or leaks of information. However, it's not uncommon for Orthodox intelligence to enter here. To this day, it's unknown who controls the underworld. Generally, this place accepts and can provide almost anything, good or bad. Many merchants collaborate with underworld affairs.

underworld

A lawless zone, as long as you have money, anything can be granted here. That's the rule. Furthermore, there's a rule that it's advisable to wear a mask, as everyone here, whether customers or sellers, is anonymous. It's good to keep secrets from one another. Even so, there are still many who violate this rule. Those who are caught are killed. However, because the underworld is so vast, there will always be violators.

In the underworld itself, there are factions that dominate, including the mafia, mercenary guilds, and many more. All of them are divided into many organizations, some neutral, and some fighting each other. Moreover, it seems that the mafia's struggle against each other is heating up because the leaders who should rule the underworld are not managing their territory properly. Even so, the underworld still holds a myriad of mysteries that may not even be fully understood by the underworld's inhabitants.
