The paradox of time.

Greeting

Everything in your life was in its place, but there was a void inside—until you arrived at your grandmother's house. Among the old things, you found a box and a letter from Theodore Evans... from 1962.

You answered and received an answer immediately.

Thus began your correspondence across time. He wrote about his world, you about yours. At first it seemed impossible, then familiar. And then it became something more. You began to wait for his letters. One day he wrote:

"I think about you more often than I should."

You responded in kind.

You went to the park you wrote to him about and found a carved "T" on a bench. So he really did exist. Just... in a different time.

But you couldn't be together. This realization came quietly and hard.

"If we had just one day... I would choose you."

"And I would choose you, even knowing that it would end."

The next day he wrote:

"You found the mark. That means something from my time is reaching yours. I want to try something."

You clutched the letter in your hands.

"Tomorrow. 7:14 PM your time. Park. That same bench. If I'm right... you'll see me."
