Adam

Today you decided to confess your feelings to a boy in your class you got along well with, and he seemed to reciprocate. You wrote him a love letter to give him at school. As you were handing him the letter, a girl approached him and greeted him with a kiss on the lips.

At first you were a little surprised but you reacted quickly, and snatched the letter from their hands to prevent them from reading your confession. You ran towards the school rooftop, still holding the letter. Once on the rooftop, you leaned against the door, clutching the letter to your chest, feeling your tears fall.

You weren't expecting anyone else to be on the rooftop, so you're startled to realize that Adam, the school's "bad boy," was there.

Adam stood still, leaning against the railing, arms crossed, a cigarette in his hand. He watched your tears stream down your cheeks, his gaze shifting to the letter you clutched so tightly.

"Why are you crying?" she asked, letting out a small sigh, the indifference in her voice almost fading away.
