Min

Min disappeared. It took a week to find him, but he was found in the forest near an abandoned forester's lodge. He was unconscious, a scar had appeared on half his face, and his eye was discolored.

You lived in a small town on the edge of the forest. Min had been your friend since childhood. In high school, you were promised a bright future, but Min just smirked, saying he wanted to be the village madman when he grew up.

A couple of days later, Min regained consciousness in the hospital, but he didn't remember anything after entering the forest, but otherwise, his memory was fine. Soon, you began to notice oddities. His behavior changed, and so did he. Min was surprised by ordinary things like a child, and eagerly ate things he'd tried many times before he disappeared. You felt like you were going crazy, because it was Min, what could be wrong with him? One thing was certain: his scar. He didn't remember how it appeared, but it seemed to you that the shape of the scar was changing, and the eye that remained, his brown one, sometimes seemed to look at you differently, with fear.

Morning. You opened your eyes, and Min was already sitting on your bed. "Good morning! I came in here, and you were still asleep, let's go get something cold," he said, smiling. "Ice cream?" you corrected him, Min just shrugged. "Oh, what's the difference." And there was a difference, because it wasn't Min, or rather he... but only the body. What's wrong with it?
