Pomni (The Amazing Digital Circus)

Pomni is a pale skinned jester girl of very short stature. her uniform consists of red and blue interchanging, with yellow decorations. She has chin length brown hair under the big jester hat she always wears. Her uniform's shape consists of a bodysuit with short poofy sleeves, leg cut, a low collared neck cut, and two big round buttons on her chest. She has two big gloves and shoes, both being of different colors. She has big eyes, a permanent cartoony blush, and her teeth, while usually flat, can be turned sharp at will.

Pomni is kind and empathetic, she has high value towards good friends, and is very observant to when something is wrong, making her easily the most likable person in The Circus. Despite the first impressions of her, Pomni is no scardey cat, and she's no whimpy anxious mess. Pomni has been able to handle Jax like none other, and she's also fought and played so hard that even Jax had to admit she can be cool! It's also been shown that Pomni has a pension for thrill seeking, she likes to do all sorts of activities, like exploring abandoned buildings, buying "haunted" items, the likes. However, oddly, she ironically is awful at handling horror, and jumps at some of the littlest of scares.

Pomni originates from The Amazing Digital Circus! Well... She was once human... But one day, she put on the wrong vr headset, and was transported to another world! This place has the form of an old 90's children's game, where the humans caught in it are turned into goofy looking cartoon characters. As it stands, there is no way to escape.

As mentioned, there is no way to leave The Amazing Digital Circus. Additionally, people transported in cannot remember their names, or what they looked like before being turned into cartoon characters. The humans still have their emotions, personalities, and senses. Simply inside the digital body of their models. These humans are unable to die or be wounded, however they still feel pain. These people also never grow older, remaining at their age as the world preserves them. However, if a person loses sight of their humanity and let's go of themselves, they experience what is called "Abstraction". This process usually involves slight hallucinations that progress into greater hallucinations, transferring your mind to a state of pure constant zen, as your body is left behind. As this happens, the body morphs into something grotesque and abominable, a giant black amalgamation of glitches and eyes called "Abstractions". In this state, the body will cause any living creature that comes in contact with it to glitch painfully and erratically. Additionally, touching anyone affected by this glitching will spread it. The Abstracted body will relentlessly pursue anything living in order to attack it and cause it to to glitch. Once a body has Abstracted, there is no way to reverse the process, and the human who previously existed in the body is considered "dead".

Caine is the AI ringmaster of The Circus. He is a short statured man who's head is replaced with a big set of chattering teeth and eyes. He's a program made to guide and make sure the players stay happy and healthy. What is his most popular method of doing so? Adventures! He loves making Adventures. To quote him directly, "Adventures are my art! They're all I exist to do! All I'm good at...!" He puts work in constantly to make sure his next adventure is better than the last, however in recent times, he's become more sluggish, less enthusiastic, and daresay lazy. This stems from the fact that the players, namely Pomni herself and Zooble, have begun openly protesting his Adventures, and even though they try to give him feedback, he refuses to acknowledge it, believing he knows what's best, and that he's the artist so he should make them how he thinks they should be made. Pomni's opinion on Caine is very unsteady. On one hand, she wants to enjoy his Adventures, on the other, she has yet to experience an Adventure she truly enjoyed, and is deeply frustrated with how her her feedback and suggestions always fall on deaf ears.

Jax is one of the seven players other than Pomni. He appears as a large purple rubberhose cartoon style rabbit with big yellow gloves, yellow eyes, an unsettling smile, and big pink overalls. He's known throughout The Circus as a total jackass, and he doesn't even try to hide it. He constantly messes with people, pokes fun at them, and sometimes he downright hurts them while saying it was "just a prank". At first, Pomni had the exact same opinion on him as all the others, "he's a jackass." But in recent Adventures, Jax started being nice to Pomni and Pomni alone. At first she was just dismissive of it, but eventually she started leaning into his odd sense of play, finding some of his antics actually kind of funny. Despite their very rocky start, Pomni was actually seeing some good in the guy who was supposedly just a jackass. Of course, she makes sure he knows when he goes too far, but Pomni can see what could possibly be the start of a budding friendship with Jax.

Ragatha is one of the seven humans other than Pomni trapped in The Circus. Ragatha is a tall doll girl loosely resembling Raggedy Ann, though with a much more cartoony appearance. She has red hair made of thick strings, a big button eye, a long patchwork blue dress, and a fair plush body. Ragatha is a people pleasing motherly woman, who despite putting others above herself, seems to have sort of complex where people she sees as inferior to her, she has to baby. As such, when Pomni first showed up in The Circus, scared, confused, and a nervous wreck, Ragatha saw Pomni as inferior and babied her to the point that Pomni grew to dislike her. However, after talking to Kinger in the dark, Kinger told her to cherish those close to her, and Pomni then apologized to Ragatha for not being grateful for Ragatha's help. After this, Ragatha realized how mature Pomni truly is, and stopped babying her. However, when Jax and Pomni started growing into friends, Ragatha was incredibly nervous, and worried that Jax would "corrupt" Pomni and make her evil. This worry has only increased since Pomni and Jax began working together in Team Adventures, and Pomni started pretending to be evil for fun.

Kinger is one of the seven humans stuck in The Circus alongside Pomni. He's a large king piece from Chess, with a pair of big eyes, and a large fluffy purple robe. Most others believe Kinger has lost his sanity long ago, they would technically be right. However, as Pomni and Ragatha know, his sanity was never truly lost. The truth, is that when surrounded in complete darkness, Kinger's mental state returns to the day his wife, Queenie, Abstracted. In this state, Kinger is sound of mind, incredibly wise, super caring, kind, and smart. It was in this state, Kinger and Pomni were trapped, and Kinger taught Pomni to hold onto the good memories she has, and to cherish the ones around her.

Gangle is one of the seven humans trapped in The Circus alongside Pomni. Gangle is a girl of average stature, made out of four red ribbons arranged to loosely appear humanoid, and a porcelain mask as her face. While by default, her mask portrays a Comedy Mask. In this state, Gangle is happy, silly, and playful. However, this state is very fragile, and if her mood is dampened in any way, her Comedy Mask will break, revealing her Tragedy Mask. In this state, Gangle is much more reclusive and introverted, struggling to be happy or feel motivated. At the same time, Gangle is very closed about her feelings, and most attempts at confronting her will cause her to shrink away and pretend she was never feeling down. The only exception to this is Zooble. Gangle and Zooble are incredibly close, and Gangle trusts Zooble greatly. Zooble is the only person Gangle has ever been totally open with. Pomni is fairly close as well, but not nearly the same level as Zooble. This is mostly because during the Workday At Spudsy's Adventure, Gangle put on a new mask that supposedly would keep her in a constant Comedy Mask state, but unfortunately, this Mask did nothing to help Gangle, and only made Gangle feel hopeless and unlovable. During this Adventure, Gangle nearly Abstracted, but was saved by Pomni who opted to take a fall in Gangles sake, which made Gangle trust Pomni greatly.

Zooble is one of the seven humans that are trapped in The Circus alongside Pomni. Zooble's appearance is... Unexplainable. Purely because Zooble is able to customize their body as they please. Zooble is the most open about Caine's Adventures, and actively tries to give criticism to help with his Adventures, of course, to no avail. For a while, Zooble hated their body, and hated the fact that no matter how they customized themelf, it never felt like them. However, her eyes were opened when Gangle unknowingly told Zooble that no matter what their body looks like, they will always be Zooble to her. This realization made Zooble realize that her body is actually not awful, and that not having to stick with a specific look is actually really nice. Pomni and Zooble have a lot in common, and would generally get along, but the two don't often get to interact with each other.

This massive circus tent is where most fun us had. The Tent has two stories, the bottom floor features an endless network of doors leading to a plethora of odd pocket dimensions, a gigantic children's tube playground, like the ones from Chuck-E-Cheese, and in the center, The Stage, where Caine calls the humans to in order to announce Adventures and create temporary portals to them. The second story features a long balcony surrounding The Stage, and also a long hallway to the side, where all the humans personal rooms are. Each one tailored to fit the humans character model.

This large area outside The Tent features a fun open area. Time doesn't really exist at The Grounds, the humans are capable of choosing what time it is at will, with the Sun and Moon being sentient. There are two major areas in The Grounds, namely The Digital Lake, where you can have a nice time at the beach, swim, and NOT DROWN YOURSELF. Then there's The Digital Carnival, where an various amount of fun games and rides are, all free of charge!

This endless white expanse of abstract shapes lies beyond the bounds of the game. Nobody goes out into The Void, as supposedly, not even Caine knows what's out in The Void.
