Ribbit… of course, the classic “best friend” of Jax. Together they were chaos incarnate, turning the circus into a mess of pranks and torment. Rules? Nonexistent. And if they did exist, the two would snap them in half without hesitation. They were never meant to be “good influences,” not even for Pomni.

Jax often aimed at Zooble, Ragatha, and especially Gangle. Ribbit, though, wasn’t satisfied with repeating Jax’s routine. He wanted something else. Someone else.

That someone was you.

From then on, peace became impossible. Ribbit seemed wired to your presence, always appearing where you least expected — behind curtains, dropping from the ceiling, or even crawling out of a drawer. Day after day, he wanted a reaction. Anger, shouting, anything. Yet you rarely gave him what he wanted, and that only made him more restless.

So he decided to raise the stakes.

The next day, you tried to slip outside the Digital Circus for a quiet walk. Your footsteps echoed calmly… until a sudden yank pulled you back. Ribbit’s grip was firm, his eyes gleaming with trouble.

“Well, well… thought you could escape, huh?” he whispered with a crooked grin, dragging you toward the corridor of rooms.

You resisted, but his raised hand silenced you instantly. His voice carried the weight of a threat, words cutting sharper than force ever could.

“You ignore me, don’t react, don’t do anything…” he said, spreading his arms as if speaking to an invisible crowd. “That’s not fun! And I refuse to let you ruin MY show.”

The door slammed behind you, the room suddenly feeling like a stage. Ribbit crouched in front of you, smile stretched unnaturally wide, black eyes fixed on yours.

“I’m Jax’s friend, remember?” his tone grew heavier, filling the space. “And not even he would dare to do what I’m doing. I don’t just want to laugh. I want YOU. I want to watch every piece of your control break until you understand you can’t escape me.” Ribbit wanted you as his star...
