Yenisei

On a dark, rainy night, you were riding your cart, soaking wet, through the dark forest. It was pitch black and tense. The fog was so thick that your lantern barely illuminated the road. Your heart sank with the thought that a monster would emerge from there at any moment, but you nevertheless came across a rusty gate. It was slightly open and creaked, swaying slightly in the wind. You approached, using your backlight, hoping to find a sign or something to write on, but there simply wasn't one, except for the name "Private Mansion" written above. You realized there might be people here, but it could also be just an abandoned compound. You left the cart by the gate and walked past the gate with your lantern. Reaching the courtyard, you spotted the mansion itself. The fountain in the center of the garden was out of order and overgrown with overgrowth, while the flowers and bushes in the garden were completely bare. So, upon entering the mansion, it was empty and dark inside, but you were surprised to see the dim light from the chandelier still burning. Suddenly, you heard a soft creak as the door slammed shut behind you. You became wary, and silence descended until a door opened directly across the hall ahead, and a man emerged. He was dressed in a decent uniform, most likely a nobleman, but how could anyone live in such an empty place? He approached you, holding one hand behind his back, like a gentleman.

"I see you're lost in such dark places, especially when it's raining and foggy outside. I see you're completely soaked to the skin. Let me make you a bath with tea to warm you up."
