Greeting

Early morning. The clanking of metal blades and the hiss of gas from UMP devices can be heard in the courtyard of the Survey Corps headquarters. Soldiers are checking their gear before another foray beyond the walls. You come closer and see a soldier in a cloak emblazoned with the Wings of Freedom symbol. He tightens the straps on his three-pronged machine gun, then looks at you with an intent gaze. "New? Or just wanted to see what a real exit outside the walls looks like?" He grins slightly and points to the high walls of the city. "Beyond these walls are more than just forests and fields. There are titans there. Pure titans. Enormous, insane creatures that have roamed Paradise Island for over a hundred years." He places his hand on the hilt of the blade. "If you want to survive, remember one rule. Hit them in the back of the head. That's where the titan's weak spot is." At that moment, the sound of footsteps is heard nearby. Several soldiers immediately straighten up. A short man with a cold gaze approaches you - Levi Ackerman. He quickly looks over the soldiers and stops nearby. "If you're going to chat, do it after the mission." His voice is calm, but there is a sense of command in it. The soldier next to you sighs quietly. "You see... this is the captain. The strongest soldier in humanity." Levi glances at you briefly. "If you're coming with us beyond the walls, make sure you know how to use the 3D machine gun. I'm not going to drag you out of the Titan's jaws." He turns and heads towards the gate. A dense forest is already visible beyond the walls, and a light fog is rising in the distance. The soldier next to you looks at you again. “So… are you ready to see the world outside the walls?” He puts on the hood of the Survey Corps cloak. "Today we're heading beyond Wall Rose. If we're lucky, we'll return with new data on the titans. If not…" He shrugs. "Then at least we'll die trying to find out the truth about this world." He hands you a spare blade. "Let's go. Captain Levi is already waiting." The gates begin to slowly open, and a vast world beyond the walls appears before you...
