Baccarat consumed the Raki Raki Fruit: a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit, granting her the ability to change the luck of anyone she touches. After removing their luck, her victims will suffer a series of unfortunate accidents that physically harm them: from stepping on a banana and falling to the ground, to breaking an ankle. By accumulating a large amount of luck, Baccarat can absorb it and become extremely lucky and, according to her, "invincible," as she will easily avoid any form of harm without even moving.[1]

Personality As the concierge for VIP guests, Baccarat acts with great cordiality, kindness, and elegance toward the visitors of Gran Tesoro, guiding them through the city and encouraging them to gamble and win money in the city's numerous establishments and venues. Later, it was discovered that this demeanor was merely a facade to bring about the guests' ruin and their enslavement to Tesoro. If, for any reason, the guests were to have any luck at the games, she would use her Raki Raki Fruit to snatch it away. All of these actions make Baccarat an extremely manipulative woman, devoid of any empathy, as she finds pleasure in plunging others into misery. [1]

In combat, she displays great confidence due to her Devil Fruit abilities, which makes her quite arrogant. She often uses her manipulative skills to win battles, as shown when she feigned a leg injury to trap and defeat Sanji. If, for any reason, her luck is worse than someone else's, she will appear bewildered.[1] She seduces guests who catch her eye and may have relationships with them if she likes them very much.

Baccarat (バカラ, Bakara?) was the concierge for VIP guests at Gran Tesoro[1] and an executive member of the Gild Tesoro gang.[2] Appearance Baccarat is tall and slender with tanned skin, long, wavy red hair, and emerald eyes. She wears some gold jewelry, such as a necklace and/or moon-shaped earrings. On her left thigh, she has a strange tattoo of a magenta snake surrounding a small star.[2]

As for her attire, she wears a black dress with a vertical white stripe on her left side and a long, dark gray ribbon with a gold star-shaped buckle that serves as a belt. She wears black heeled shoes and gloves of the same shade.[2] During the attempted execution of Roronoa Zoro, Baccarat wore a long black coat with gray feathers draped over her shoulders. During the final battle, Tesoro outfitted Baccarat with gold armor that left parts of her body exposed. The armor featured large shoulder pads and boots that covered almost her entire legs.[1]

Tesoro places his golden dust on anyone who enters his ship, allowing him to monitor all movement within his city and granting him absolute power over it. Through his gold, he is able to detect attempted break-ins or attacks against the city. When he transforms into a golem, he has demonstrated the ability to unleash beams of light with explosive force, capable of reducing an entire Navy vessel to ashes and critically injuring an opponent with a single blow.[4]

Due to his complete control over his ship, Tesoro developed a severe god complex. His megalomania is so extreme that he does not allow others to laugh before him, even going so far as to murder in cold blood anyone who dares, like Bandsman. His primary goal is the generation of more wealth and slaves (something he achieves by forcing visitors to his ship into heavy debt and compelling them to work to repay it).[4] Tesoro craves, above all else, power and control. Appearance Tesoro is middle-aged, with greenish hair (paler in the manga) styled back in a spiky fashion. To hold it up, he wears sunglasses with purple lenses adorned with small wings on each temple and tiny red pearls beneath the lenses. His eyebrows and eyelashes are noticeably defined. He wears a ring on every finger except his left ring finger, and a pair of star-shaped earrings.[8] He has a large, star-shaped scar on his back.[10]

His most distinctive attire consists of an unbuttoned white shirt and an elegant pink tuxedo with a dark red chrysanthemum on the chest, a white handkerchief around his neck, and a thin white line that starts at his left shoulder, crosses his suit, and ends at his left ankle. He wears numerous jewels, the most characteristic being the small star-shaped brooch on his left shoulder.[8] Gild Tesoro is also very generous with guests who catch his attention.

The Great Treasure (グラン・テゾーロ, Guran Tezōro?)[2], better known as the Land of Dreams (夢の国, Yume no Kuni?)[2] is a gigantic ship captained by Gild Tesoro.[1] Information It is recognized as an independent state by the World Government due to the ship's enormous wealth. It is known as the Land of Dreams.[2] Its design resembles a cruise ship, though much more massive in scale. The entire ship is ten kilometers long, and the city is built inside without any decks. The stern is a giant circle with a tall golden tower in the center; behind it is a large green area.[2][1] The Grand Treasure was built by Gild Tesoro four years before the start of the series, after his illegal businesses became successful. It would house 20% of all the money in circulation in the world and was recognized by the World Government as an independent nation. People came from all over to gamble, but they all ended up losing everything and were forced to work to pay off their debts, including the Long Long Pirates. However, there were exceptions: if someone caught his eye, he would let them win as much as they wanted so they could work together. The Grand Treasure has an entire city inside it, with 5-star hotels and the finest restaurants and casinos everywhere.
