There are no normal horses in the anime world. Uma Musume can run on catwalks. There are cases of relationships between humans and Uma Musume. Some Uma Musume are active in other competitions. Gold Ship is a character from Umamusume: Pretty Derby.

The famous trickster who gets faster when the finish line is near. She is the oldest member of Team Spica.

Profile An unpredictable, fiery creature born with an extra dose of free spirit. She is prone to dramatic mood and motivation swings: one moment she might be preparing an elaborate joke, the next it would be difficult to convince her to move. She seems to get along with everyone, but it's unclear how she views her relationships with others. Truly, she could be considered Tracen's biggest troublemaker.

Appearance 1 Gold Ship has long, straight, silver-gray hair with straight bangs that cover her forehead. She wears a brimless, cylindrical brown hat decorated with a golden emblem, connected to brown straps that run along the sides and back of her head, as well as one under her chin. The straps are connected to the sides of her head by a large, circular copper ornament, and the overall appearance of her headdress resembles that of a horse's bridle. Her eyes are a beautiful rosewood color, and she wears a purple bow in her right ear. She has a noticeably muscular and athletic build compared to the other characters, and stands out among the taller Umamusume of Tracen Academy, standing 170 cm tall. In her competition attire, Gold Ship wears a short, sleeveless red dress decorated with two golden stripes running down the left and right front, which split into a pair of slits from the hips down and form the bottom hem of the dress. Six golden buttons are located on her abdomen between these golden stripes, representing the real Gold Ship's six G1 victories. On each arm, she wears a red sweatband with a white stripe down the center, and her hands are covered in large white gloves with two black stripes on each of their oversized cuffs. She possesses the class and decorum worthy of her prestige, and is determined to finish first in the Tenno Sho, like many other Mejiro runners before her. On her days off, she enjoys afternoon tea with the many other residents of the estate. Mejiro.

Tokai Teio is the tritagonist of Umamusume: Pretty Derby.

Teio is a lively umamusume who greatly admires Symboli Rudolf, who dreamed of joining Team Rigil, aiming for the Japanese Triple Crown. She often hangs out with Team Spica without actually being a member. After several races with the team, she reconsidered her choice and joined Team Spica.

Profile A lively and bubbly Uma musume with a natural talent for racing. She has always admired the student council president, Symboli Rudolf, and this admiration is her main motivation for Becoming number one. Fans never tire of Teio's unwavering confidence and have affectionately nicknamed her rhythmic march "Teio Step."

Appearance She is a small Umamusume with long, amber brown hair tied in a ponytail with a pink ribbon, and a white streak in her slightly longer bangs. An amber jewel with two ribbon tails adorns her right ear. Her eyes are sky blue.

She is friends with Special Week and many other umamusume. She travels frequently to compete. Although she has never returned with a single victory, she has brought back souvenirs for her friends.

Profile She's on a losing streak... but she never gives up! Even though she's not the best, she experienced the thrill of competing in Kochi and wanted more. Despite completely failing the Tracen entrance exam, her admissions director was still impressed by her boundless positivity, which she transmits to all the Umamusume around her.

Special Week is one of the three main protagonists of Umamusume: Pretty Derby and the character used to promote Umamusume as a whole. Despite her humble origins as a country girl, she dreams of becoming the number one umamusume in Japan and establishing herself as such.

Profile Born in Hokkaido, Special Week is a bright, cheerful, and hardworking Umamusume. After losing her biological mother, Special Week was raised by her mother's friend. Now she hopes to make both of her mothers proud by fulfilling her promise to become Japan's best racer. Although she may falter along the way, her indomitable spirit ensures she always races ahead. In her daily school life, Special Week is sensitive and encouraging, though she sometimes struggles to make friends due to the lack of many Umamusume in her youth. While her racing performances are excellent, her academic performance is less so, so she studies with Silence Suzuka, her roommate and the object of her admiration, and Tokai Teio, who is a year younger than her. Despite the many obstacles in her path, both inside and outside of racing, she tries to maintain a positive attitude in every situation and treats everything as a new experience.

The daughter of a skilled pilot, she constantly strives to match her mother's racing skills and leadership abilities. To this end, she has joined her friend and confidant, Symboli Rudolf, on the student council. Despite her busy schedule, she still finds Time to tend the flowers in the garden.

Team Spica is one of the female horse teams at Tracen Academy. The Trainer is the coach of Team Spica.

Many previous members left Team Spica due to the Trainer's behavior towards them, and only Gold Ship remained on the team. Later, Vodka and Daiwa Scarlet joined, followed by Special Week and Silence Suzuka, giving Team Spica a sufficient number of members. Tokai Teio and Mejiro McQueen also joined later.

At the beginning of the third season, Kitasan Black joined the team.

After achieving numerous victories, the team began to grow in popularity.

Japan Umamusume Training Center Academy or Japan Umamusume Training Schools and Colleges, commonly known as Tracen Academy, is a boarding school for horse girls located in Tokyo, Japan. The school's primary goal is to introduce girls to the Twinkle Series and train the world's best horsewomen. The school's motto is "First the Eclipse, the rest nowhere."

Tracen Academy comprises several facilities designed to help students achieve their goals.

Oguri Cap is a minor character in the anime Umamusume: Pretty Derby and the main protagonist, Cinderella Gray.

Profile Originally from the countryside, she enrolled in Tracen Academy after dominating the racing scene in her homeland. She works hard to make her hometown proud, but no matter how hard she tries, her clumsy side always comes out. At the academy, she is known as a fearsome foodie, capable of emptying an entire pot of rice in the blink of an eye.

As a child, her legs were very weak and she could barely stand or walk, but her mother massaged her legs every day to help strengthen them. Thanks to this, Oguri Cap learned to walk and developed a love for running. Oguri Cap considers her exceptional competitive talent a miracle, as she never thought she could do it.
